Kelli and Lauri are both excellent Chefs... from Elk Wrapped in Bacon with Currant Sauce to Mussells in a rich, spicy broth... It's all good! And meals come with a variety of fresh Home-Baked Bread, all served in a comfy, window-lined dining room, upstairs and down. (Check out the wood-fired furnace made from a Soviet-era sea mine...Totally hip.) The area has miles of forest hiking trails, well-marked and well-kept. I was there in winter with fresh snow and a faint Aurora Borealis hanging above the lighthouse. I hope to return in late spring for hiking/biking... and more of Kelli and Lauri's wonderful North Estonian cooking! Terviseks!

Villa Theresa Hotel is located in Rakvere, in the unique oak forest, one of the few remaining in northern Estonia. The town centre is 1 km away. Very good room, good breakfast, no problems with parking, nice location within an old park, excellent cleanliness, very friendly staff.
