The George Hotel's historic exterior hides modern interiors and facilities. I’ve stayed at The George many times and cannot fault any aspect of the hotel. The rooms are fabulous, clean, & superbly appointed. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, with customer service at the forefront. The breakfast is amazing, and I can’t think of a better place to stay. Brilliant service and fabulous value for money. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. The pub hotel is excellent, very comfortable, friendly staff and the food is very high quality at breakfast you need to be hungry.

Very clean & had all the amenities needed for my short stay, as for the surrounding area stunningly beautiful, which is why I went, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
