The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

What a phenomenal stay - the room was beautifully appointment and thoroughly comfortable. We also very much enjoyed our dinner an d breakfast and only wish we could have stayed for more night.

Angel Cottage býður upp á gistirými með garði og verönd, í um 23 km fjarlægð frá Sandy Park Rugby-leikvanginum. A perfect location down a quiet alley. The house was like a home away from home, so comfy and we can't wait to stay again! Our fur babies absolutely loved the house too. Great hosts!!

The setting is amazing!! It was comfortable and warm and Anna left us homemade jam and breakfast ingredients were amazing. We will 100% be back.

Very nice air b&b was absolutely perfect for me & my dog. Donna, the host, was lovely and had made a surprise cream tea waiting in the fridge 😋 the bed was extremely comfortable & sofa too. Very clean & had all the amenities needed for my short stay, as for the surrounding area stunningly beautiful, which is why I went, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
