The rooms are large and the bed was very comfortable The Bull Freehouse , also run by the hotel , has excellent food.

The Little Barn státar af útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn og býður upp á gistingu með garði og verönd, í um 45 km fjarlægð frá Apex. It begun by a warm greeting. Turns out I had booked the wrong date somehow. But it didn’t matter. We were invited into their home, got to meet the dog’s, were made a pot of tea and they fit us in and got the little barn ready for us. Truly above and beyond. The little barn itself is amazing! Perfect mixture of modern and cozy. We didn’t even leave. I would 100% return, perhaps when the weather is a bit better so we can explore a little.

Food is excellent, deserts are to die for and breakfast excellent with just the best quality local produce. Location is beautiful and the drinks selection is excellent - outstanding wine including hughe selection by the glass - and non alcoholic gin. We would return to eat.
