Situated in Laugharne, close to the River Tâf estuary, this boutique hotel is known as the favourite watering hole of Dylan Thomas. Well located for a stopover. Exceptional breakfast - one of the best we had when touring Wales. Charming building, room perfectly equipped. The little fridge ist extremely helpful. Dinner at Dexter's is highly recommended. Brilliant food and wine!

Clean, warm and comfortable. Florence is a wonderful and thoughtful host. We stayed just before Christmas and the touches like mince pies were lovely. Florence kept us informed if other guests were checking in, too.

What a beautiful Inn. We received a very warm welcome from Martin and Mel and we're able to check our bags in early. After an energetic walk up Hergest Ridge, we returned to find all thr pretty christmas tree lights on and the fire roaring, it all looked so inviting. Our room (number 1) was perfect, very comfy bed and stunning views of the valley. We enjoyed a wonderful meal by the fire in the evening and breakfast in the morning was spot on. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the summer.

Loved it all, the location was great for what plans we had. The view was beautiful, the hot tub was amazing. The staff were great with adding a couple extra treats to celebrate our friends birthday. All 3 of us had the best time! Thank you!

The staff at Basecamp are amazing and really made an effort to make sure I had an enjoyable stay. The property is newly-renovated and the rooms and bathrooms are very nice. Location is right in the heart of Betws-y-Coed.
