If the place hadn’t been fully booked, I would definitely have extended my stay. This is the best place to relax and get down in gear. read a book in the hammock. Go for swims in the lake. Go for a kayak trip. Fill your belly with delicious food. The place is adorable. The food is so good, generous portions and fair prices. Communal dinner every night means you get a chance to meet most of the other guest. Thereby also a nice place to go as a solo traveler. The staff and owner are super sweet. There’s a little yoga hut with lake view that I had all for myself to exercise in the morning.

The staff was realy friendly and helpfull. Location was perfect, very close to Rio Dulce. The room was very clean. The food and coctails very good. 😀

Small beach at the lake, directly accessible from the terrace. You can swim in the lake. Howler monkeys in the trees. Very friendly staff who allowed changes to the menu for vegans. Roomy cabins, good beds, okay shower. Lovely dining area with rustic furniture. In El Estor there is a super market, and also an outdoor market where they sell local textile. Not many tourists there, very unspoiled and original. The Carretera 7E (coming from the East) is paved until El Estor and changes then into 44 km unpaved road, which made us drive back the way we came.
