Our stay at TheJungleGuide was fantastic! The staff do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from organising transport to and from the accomodation, to singing tunes with you at night! The inclusion of a jungle trek in our stay was the highlight! We were taken on a 1 day trek with Wahyun and the absolutely hilarious Bandito who were knowledgeable and so much fun during our trip. The food from the kitchen was nice and gave a taste of the local cuisine. Overall this was an amazing stay that we will definitely be recommending to friends back home!!

Evergreen Lodge er nýuppgert heimagisting í Padang, 2,7 km frá Samudra-ströndinni. Gististaðurinn er með garð og borgarútsýni. The lodge is a well run place, with a very friendly vibe, and lots of cool people hanging out! Will definitely return!

Our stay at Rambai Tree lodges was magical. Tia was incredibly helpful and the people in general who work for Rambai and within Bukit Lawang are so so lovely. She helped sort us out with a guide to go and see the Oragutans and we managed to see 8 of them in one day. The guides are knowledgeable, interesting and passionate giving a wonderful overall experience. The food was exceptional and Tia is a phenomenal cook, always providing us with delicious fresh fruit afterwards. The location was exceptional, right on the edge of the National Park and with the roaring sound of the river outside, it was big, clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were greeted by Thomas Leaf monkeys on our porch, it was truly magical and I would recommend this place in a heart beat.

Mario Lakeside Apartments er nýlega enduruppgerð íbúð í Tuk Tuk, þar sem gestir geta fengið sem mest út úr ókeypis reiðhjólum og garði. Wonderful 4-night stay. The owner and staff are super kind and welcoming. The apartment was so functional--I can see why it can also be rented long-term. Favorite thing was probably the hammock and view of the lake, as well as the convenience of the vegetarian restaurant!

I loved everything about Indra Valley Inn.The location was perfect- very close to shops and other facilities.The room was very large and super clean.From the balcony I had a beautiful view of Gunung Leuser National Park...Sleep quality was excellent....What really made my stay SO enjoyable were the staff.Obiwan,the owner,was friendly and welcoming and really made me feel at home.He helped me a lot-organising transport to Banda Ache and arranging a trek to see the orang utans...I want to thank Fireman also for transporting me from the bus station and for being such an excellent guide...He took me to the next village twice to the ATM and we toured the countryside together on the motorbike...The restaurant was superb...I had all my meals at Indra Valley Inn over the 4 days...Thanks to Sila and Obiwan's wife for the top class food....An excellent place to stay ...10 out of 10.

Playgrounds Sabbit Mentawai Surfcamp is set in Pulau Masokut and features a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. I was very happy with how close it is to that water and the boats are moored right out front. Food was different every meal, a mix of Spanish meals and Indonesian and also some Italian. Paco was super helpful organising our fast ferry over there and back, the staff were legends too. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
