Very comfortable and accommodating hotel, the rooms are spacious and well designed. The highlight, however, was the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very well run by efficient and very helpful staff and they made us feel most welcome!!!

We really appreciated having both a cozy living room for watching TV and a quiet reading nook—great lighting and comfy sofas in both. The kitchen had everything we needed, though a couple of larger bowls would’ve been nice. Even though trash bags and recycling bins weren’t set up at first, we easily found plenty of bags under the sink, so no problem at all. There were lots of heaters around the house, which made us feel safe and warm throughout the night. It might help future guests if the guidebook included a note saying “fire symbol = heating on” for those unfamiliar with it. The bedrooms were super clean and comfortable—we slept really well. With three bathrooms, no one had to wait or hold it in! The host was kind and very helpful, letting us pick up the keys early and even preparing a lovely welcome basket. Such a thoughtful touch! We absolutely loved our stay and have already recommended this place to friends. Thank you!

This is hands down one of the nicest places we've ever stayed on our travels and it wasn't even crazy expensive. The facilities were exactly what we needed for our week-long stay and we were so impressed with the size and the space to really live in a home away from home. The kitchen facilites were great with everything we needed to self-cater. The bed was super comfortable and the bedroom space in general was very cozy. The day bed was a nice kind of dumping ground for all our stuff as well. The living room was perfect for nights in front of the TV (I have the same Ikea sofa bed at home :) ). The dining area also functioned as our remote workspace. For those people who do have to work while they're on holiday (booooo), the layout here was great for that. There was enough space for both my partner and I to have our remote setup and not be bumping into each other. The wifi was also strong and reliable. Besides all this we brought our 28 kg dog, so that fact that we still felt like the space was big enough and comfy enough for all of us says a lot. The location was also great--close enough to Kenmare for supermarkets and pubs and a good starting point for lots of day trips. Being able to walk to the Sailor's Bar after a long day of exploring was also a plus. Thanks so much to Emmett and Grace for creating such a well thought out space and for allowing us to enjoy it.

We liked everything about the property—location, facilities, parking, comfort, etc. But the best part of our stay was meeting Marie! She is very kind, friendly and warm. She even made sure we had snacks and breakfast items available in the room. We highly recommend staying at Skellig View Bluebell Rose & Kerry Cliffs and hope to return again ourselves. Delightful stay!
