Excellent house in the centre of the town, close to surer market,the museums and the port. Excellent decoration,ample space for the 7 of us.The kitchen and the two bathrooms have everything you can imagine. One of the best houses we ever booked. Good instuctions, very easy to find it. Great location for seeing the aurora borealis. We rented 3 cabins. All were clean and comfortable. Coffee was provided.

Located in the country side, Hotel Stundarfridur offers accommodation 12 km from Stykkishólmur. This property provides guests with a terrace. There is also a restaurant and a shared lounge. The room was very spacious and clean and had an amazing view of the mountains on Snaesfellsnes peninsula. If it hadn't been cloudy and aurora activity had been high when we stayed, it would have been possible to see the northern lights directly from the window. The breakfast was amazing and an incredible value for the money. The owners were lovely and very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here!
