We did not bring a dog this time, but I have never seen a place better prepared to host dogs and their owners. The staff was available 24/7 and helped store our luggage on check out date so we could continue to explore the city. They provided very comfortable pyjamas, which was unexpected but welcomed. All the facilities were top-notch, clean, and quite luxurious. We went during peak tourist season in Kyoto and therefore the price was on the higher side. However, after seeing the facilities first hand, I felt like it was definitely worth the price.

Gallery Nozawa Inn offers accommodation in Kyoto, 25 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Every room includes a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. I have no words to describe the amazing experience we had here. This place is in my heart: incredible traditional house, the most fantastic breakfast, the care and affection the owners treated us. It was a dream come true. A privilege to stay here. We can’t wait to come back again

Open from 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features a Western-style restaurant and a tea house by a pond in Shakusuien Japanese garden as well as a lounge. Kyoto Station is a 7-minute drive away. Amazing food, beautiful rooms, central location and as always at a four seasons the best service.

A 10-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Train Station, Takigawa Ryokan features comfortable Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. - Authentic Atmosphere: The rooms exude a traditional Japanese charm, providing an authentic experience. - Spacious and Comfortable: For Japanese standards, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The futons were very comfortable, providing us with restful sleep. - Exceptional Hospitality: The staff’s kindness and attentiveness were beyond expectations. They even turned on the AC while we were out, ensuring our comfort as soon as we returned. Their thoughtful gestures made us feel genuinely cared for. - Relaxing Onsen: The onsen-style public bath was a highlight—it felt like a private retreat. The facilities were spotless, and the atmosphere was so soothing. - A Nostalgic Touch: The entire ryokan has a delightful retro vibe, reminiscent of visiting grandparents’ home. The warmth and hospitality make it feel so special and inviting.

The host was so kind, a family owned business! It was really comfortable and it felt like I was staying at home. Watched TV in the living room, rented their bike, and everything was really clean. They also offer pick -up from Miyazu Station which was very convenient. I would stay here again.

This airbnb is located incredibly close to Fushimi Inari station, it was just 1 minute walk away! Perfect location to get around Kyoto as well. The house was beautifully decorated, as I personally love the wooden aesthetic. There's a nice tea ceremony room where 5-6 people can gather and hang out, which I really liked. The entire place was clean, including the bathrooms and toilets. Very lovely home which I would definitely book again if I go to Kyoto.
