What I really liked about this place was the homely feel to it. The room was big enough for us and we enjoyed the comfy beds. The kitchen had everything as well and had all the amenities needed. There were dehumidifiers, warmers and an AC in the kitchen and room, so we were very warm. The place was clean and we were able to enjoy the Onsen at the hotel nearby, The Royal Hotel Kawaguchiko (tattoo friendly as well) 1000 yen per person for 2 hours).

Great little hotel right in front of the Shoji lake which is wonderful. Big traditional room with a nice bath as well. The open onsen was the highlight for me. The staff was attentive including the owner of the hotel who personally talked to the guests and made sure they were having a good time. There was a simple breakfast to start your day and some refreshment drinks was offered later in the day. Absolutely loved this quaint little hotel. The rooftop lets you get a nice view of the lake. Hope to return one day! It is far from the town so if taking public transport be sure to stick to the bus schedules.

Dogs :) Awesome open-air jacuzzi with view on sky with stars (cutting away a few tree branches would make it even better) The house has unique atmosphere with a lot of things on dogs thematic. It it a good break from standard hotels. Rocking chair. Calm surrounding area.

The view from all the rooms on the Fuji San when the weather allow it, in a very confortable house. With a big enough space for a small group of friends, or a family.

For people who have dog this is heaven! Very nice place and all facilities and staff are very friendly to dogs. We had two wonderful nights here. Rooftop view (blue floor with WAN’s Resort print) is second to none!
