Comfortable Living: Takumisou1 in Fukushima offers a holiday home with three bedrooms and a living room. Guests enjoy free WiFi, air-conditioning, and a balcony. The house was great, it included some food which was much appreciated after a long day and the breakfast sandwich in the morning was a great way to start the day.

Yadoya Shiroganeya er staðsett í Nagano, í innan við 20 km fjarlægð frá Zenkoji-hofinu og 22 km frá Nagano-lestarstöðinni. We stayed one night and it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The location was beautiful, the onsen was perfect, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the hostess, Maki, was so nice and welcoming. Maki taught us, two non-Japanese, the proper way to enjoy a ryokan stay, enabling us get the full traditional Japanese experience. If you are able to book a stay at this ryokan then consider yourself lucky, it is truly wonderful.

Beautiful property with a homely atmosphere. Kate and staff are lovely. The view from the guest lounge to Hoppo One is breathtaking taking.

Be prepared to eat things that you wouldn't usually eat and have a real authentic Japanese experience. I looked forward to breakfast every day, the food was beautiful and presented beautifully. The owners are super helpful and the location to the ski lifts is superb. We hadn't done an Onsen yet until we stayed at Shiga Kogen, so it was baptism by fire as the shared bathrooms is the Onsen, but don't be put off, it's an amazing experience and the Onsen is great after a day on the slopes.

Located 44 km from Zenkoji Temple, 1.6 km from Happo-One Ski Resort and 4.7 km from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, el green log offers accommodation situated in Hakuba. Host was a good and prompt communicator and very helpful. We appreciated our bags being picked up from Yamato Transport and taken to El Green Log for us. It was very spacious (especially by Japan standards), clean and had everything we needed. Very warm and we loved the fireplace. Good location to get shuttles from the Echoland Spicy stop to ski fields, and an easy walk to many restaurants.
