Situated in the center of Tokyo, Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo is 800 metres from Tokyo Station. Elegantly furnished rooms located on the upper floors boast city views. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and an on-site fitness centre is available for guests for free. Everything was great. Rooms where nice and really big, clean, nice view, good breakfast, it's next to emperor, it has easy commute to many parts of Tokyo and you can even walk to the hotel right from the subway if the weather is not nice. It's located almost in the center, with several minutes walk to Emperor's Gardens and Palace, surrounded by modern skyscrapers. Skyscrapers is where you stay and what you see in the windows, so if the lights of the city in the night take your breath away - that's a good place to taste modern Tokyo. It isn't a tourist and/or shopping area though, so don't expect huge crowds in the nights and restaurants serving too late, but you are the crossroads between many great areas so it's good as a 'hub' location.

Excellent and modern property that we stayed in on 2 separate occasions on our family visit to Japan. 3 comfortable and well-sized bedrooms along with 2 bathrooms all with new fittings and comfortable beds. Large dining/living area with large screen TV. Balcony to sit out on and all facilities worked well. Quiet, mostly traditional neighbourhood was welcome after the hectic atmosphere of central Tokyo. Stairs are not as steep as more traditional properties but still require some care. Owners communicated well and were generous to us. Having stayed in 6 accommodations across Japan this was clearly our family favourite and I'd highly recommend.

Amazing location - right next to Asakusabashi station yet EXTREMELY quiet. The hotel is dog friendly, so every day there are lovely pets at the reception. At the same time, we haven't been disturbed by any barking/noise during our stay (not a single time). The room was small, but very well organized and we had no issues at all.
The room is spacious for this price and this location! Lots of amazing restaurants within walking distance! Both me and my partner love this hotel and would definitely stay here again for next visit. Before I came I read others reviews saying there may be smell of dogs because it's a dog friendly hotel, but I didn't smell anything weird, the whole hotel is very clean, and the puppies are adorable.
We loved the location, the staff, the fact it's doggy friendly, even though we don't travel with pets, it was nice to see them about the hotel lobby. Rooms were clean and views from the top floor wonderfu.l
It was a nice hotel with a great location; many food spots were just around the corner, and the Asakusabashi station was just a few meters away. I liked how friendly and polite the staff were. This is a dog-friendly hotel, and that's positive, especially seeing the cute puppies every morning dressed up in different kinds of pupwear! It always brightened my day to see them.
I needed a place close to Akihabara and this hotel was the perfect location. Area seemed rough at first but it was perfectly safe at all time. Hotel is pet friendly although had no pet with me but it's nice to see many options especially for dog owners. Breakfast was nothing special, they let you prepare sandwiches with bread or bagels but not many option for vegans.
The location near Tokyo train station was quite convenient and the hotel had a cute robotic pet dog that was at the hotel lobby greeting customers while going for their breakfast.
We initially picked this property because it allowed pets. It was a pity that we decided not to bring our dogs to Japan for this holiday (crazy ideal, eh?). The information provided beforehand were easy to comprehend with lots of pictures. Finding the building and getting in was uncomplicated. The room itself was seemingly clean and tidy. We encountered problem getting hot water in the bathroom, and the host was responsive with the messages to render help.
Super comfortable, cosy room. The beds were good and the room itself had a pleasant temperature without the need for constant AC. Sound insulation was also decent as we didn't hear much from outside the room. They're a dog-friendly hotel, so the cafe on the ground floor always had a dog or two around, which was cute. The location is pretty good, with both the Asakusa line and the JR Sobu line at 3 min walking. It took us 45min to get to Haneda as well. Definitely stay here again.
