La Folie Lodge er staðsett í 8 km fjarlægð frá Wat Phou, sem er á heimsminjaskrá UNESCO, og býður upp á gistirými með útsýni yfir ána Mekong. This was our third stay at la Folie Lodge over the last 10 years. I think management would be hard pushed to find more enthusiastic guests. It is a wonderful place and, located on an island in the Mekong, is quite literally out of this world. The entire experience is simply superlative. The rooms are lovely, the vista from the balcony over the river to the sacred mountain of Vat Phu inspiring, the pool immaculate, the restaurant excellent and Mr Alom's staff charmingly attentive. Special thanks must go out to his second in command, the genial Mr Sam from Pondicherry who raised our enjoyment of this visit to even greater heights. His apparent ability to be everywhere simultaneously when you needed him coupled with his friendly, courteous and discreet assistance transformed our days. Thank you Mr Sam!

Nicolas Family Homestay - Mekong Home is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Pakse, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and I had my own private bathroom. I felt comfortable staying with Nicolas and his family. What makes this homestay truly special is Nicolas deep local knowledge. He knows Pakse, the Bolaven Loop and Champasak extremely well and shared countless tips, including non-touristic places and his own custom maps. This was a huge advantage for my travels and something you rarely find elsewhere. If you’re looking for a place with a personal touch and genuinely helpful local insights, I can highly recommend this homestay.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a plunge pool, mountain view and a terrace, Don Falang Homestay- Private Island & Beach is set in Don Det. Alex and Laymon were the perfect hosts. Kind and helpful, and so so welcoming. We arrived as customers, and left feeling like we were old friends.

The hosts were incredibly friendly! They offered bike and scooter rentals at a lower price than the island average. Additionally, they provided laundry and boat services, organizing everything seamlessly. Always available and incredibly helpful.The Wi-Fi was excellent; we work remotely and had no issues whatsoever. Strategically located on the island with a spacious terrace. Thank you!

Pan guest house er staðsett í Ban Donsôm og er með garð, verönd og bar. Þetta gistihús býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með svölum. Einingarnar á gistihúsinu eru með sérbaðherbergi og ókeypis WiFi. Of the area it was to us the best — a pristine pool and a nice shaded area on the river for watching the sunset. Breakfasts were generous and the staff super helpful (with excellent English). We walked to the two different waterfalls on different days, and it’s easy to pop over the bridge to Don Det. Lots of restaurants in the area, too. Dry relaxing

Right on the river. Sunset side. Close to everything but still private. Laundry and bike rentals right there. Go eat at tevendang restaurant. On other side on the way to the bridge. Her food and kindness are amazing.
