We stayed three wonderful nights in Tropicana Home Stay. We have traveled around Sri Lanka and stayed in many hotels and guesthouses. This is one of the nicest and cleanest rooms we have had. Also with excellent Internet. It is a small family owned guesthouse with a small supermarket right next doors. The family feeling makes it very cost and accomodating. The owner cocked us a barbecue on our last evening. We can highly recommend this home stay.

Beachfront Location: Whisky Point Resort in Arugam Bay offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests enjoy sea views and a serene garden setting. Great spot right by the beach. All facilities, including the bar, restaurant, yoga area and beach loungers were great. Pizza was delicious. Hosts were very helpful and kindly provided a cold coconut drink on arrival.

Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

The Charitta is ideal if you want to visit the Gal Oya Water Safari. They take care of booking the safari and arranging transportation for you. A family runs the hotel. They are lovely and helped us with everything. The prices are very reasonable. They also drove us to Barracola in their car for a very good price. It's difficult to get out of Gal Oya without your own transportation. The accommodation is basic but very clean, and the breakfast is very good.

Starfish Cabbana er staðsett í um 300 metra fjarlægð frá Arugam Bay-ströndinni og státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með garði og svölum. Such lovely cabanas and perfect location! We loved our time at Starfish, the host was super accommodating and helped us with everything from making sure I had a desk to work at to sorting out some TukTuk troubles. The grounds are beautiful with lush green plants and some hammocks to chill in. You’re a super short walk to the beach and town but still off the road enough for it to be quiet. Loved it and definitely recommend!

Forcus Cabanas er staðsett við Arugam-flóa og býður upp á friðsæl og hljóðlát gistirými innan um gróskumikinn, suðrænan gróður. Highly recommended. The stuff was very welcoming and eager to help. Breakfast was great, rooms spacious and clean. The location is central. A short walk from the main surf point of Arugam Bay as well as very close to the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. Thank you!

Located 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Domestic Villa offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay. The property and the house were very beautiful. Such an oasis from the busy streets only 200 meters away. A complete functional kitchen, one of the most comfortable beds in Sri Lanka, and attention to details like private bathrooms for each bedroom and cleanliness to the highest standards. The host, Haleem, is one of the kindest and generous hosts you'll ever meet. There is nothing he will not do for you to make your stay perfect. This property is as good as it gets when enjoying your travel holiday.

Located within 600 metres of Arugam Bay Beach and 4.2 km of Muhudu Maha Viharaya in Arugam Bay, Surf Dream Villa Arugambay offers accommodation with seating area. The property was lovely. We also took the surf lessons and they were fantastic! We had so much fun. We are complete beginners and it was so well taught, and Apple knew the spots to go to!!

STARFISH beach bústaðurinn er staðsettur í Arugam Bay, í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá Whisky Point, og býður upp á gistingu með líkamsræktarstöð, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. This place felt magical and we really felt like home here! Don’t know if it’s gonna be that way in a few years, but staying here instead of Arugam Bay was the best decision. The town here is so small but such a safe space! The rooms are decorated with love and the garden is really special as well. This was by far our favorite place to stay in Sri Lanka. We went surfing in the morning (6 am) and it’s just around the corner. A special surprise was the family dinner we had together with all guests, really nice for connecting but also really delicious!! So thankful to have met Sveva and Raj:))
