Beautifully presented, clean and comfortable beds and room. Perfect location between two beaches. Lovely gardens to relax in after spending time at the beach.

Absolutely loved my stay here, the family are so nice and helpful with excellent English and great conversation. They deserve all the success that could come from this place. The breakfast was amazing and there are options for dinner. The rooms were lovely, modern and clean. The whole house is amazing. I'd rate 10/10 and have recommended to friends.

Kumu looked after us perfectly. We had the best breakfast in Sri Lanka with loads of fruit and she prepared a superb rice and curry for dinner. Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

Joseph is a really great host and very easy to communicate with. The property was really nice. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities. Noelline, who was there at the property was extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast for us as well. Will definitely be staying there again when I visit Batticaloa.

The room is conveniently located very close to the very beautiful beaches. You can walk there. We enjoyed the small independent house in a beautiful garden and semi-covered bathroom. The young manager and his employee did the best for us : very good breakfast and vegetarian dinner !

Set along the pristine coastlines of Passikudah Beach, Amethyst Resort, Passikuddah offers a spacious outdoor swimming pool and provides windsurfing activities. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We had a truly memorable stay. The main reason we chose this hotel was because it allows pets. For us, a pet is part of the family. Unfortunately, the majority of Sri Lankans do not understand this and often treat pets poorly. Only a very small number of people treat pets the way they are treated in the Western world. Amethyst Resort allowed us to keep our lovely dog in our room, and he had some of the best days of his life. He walked with us on the beach and played freely on the sand. It was a joy to see. I kindly request the hotel management to please continue as a pet-friendly hotel. We heard that this policy may change due to certain religious beliefs in the area and because other star-class hotels do not allow pets. I sincerely hope Amethyst Resort will continue to stand out by welcoming pets. Once again, thank you. Every staff member was extremely kind and friendly, and we truly appreciate the warmth and care we received during our stay.
