Mirissa was our first destination straight from the airport, and we arrived at Azure close to 11 PM. The staff were very accommodating despite the late hour. The property is owned by Natalia, who was extremely responsive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. She provided great recommendations, helped us with driver contacts, and even booked our whale-watching tour on our behalf. The property is just a 10-minute walk to the beach, which was very convenient. I was also very happy with how fast and reliable the Wi-Fi was, as I needed to check emails in between.

We loved our stay at Slowlife, the house is very nice and quite. The owner is very kind and respectful of guests’ privacy. Not to mention the lovely company of Kali a sweet and welcoming dog! The beach is not far, just 10 mins walking or a quick tuk tuk ride. There was AC in the room and a kitchen is well equipped for making tea or coffee.

Not too far from Dikwellla where you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets and walkable distance to Hiriketya. A wonderful host – kind, attentive, and always willing to help.

Star Eyes Hostel is an amazing budget hostel located in Weligama (close to jungle beach). And even though is rather social, the dorms are very quiet so it's easy to rest properly! The owner is such a friendly and welcoming man. He is working so hard the entire day but always with a smile on his face. Apart from that, the facilities are always clean and they provide some good food as well. I tried the grilled tuna fish with bolied vegetables and it was great! In short, my experience in this hostel was 10 put of 10. I do absolutely recommend it!

Talalla Beach is about a 12-minute walk away along a relatively quiet street. Compared to other beaches on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, it is less crowded, making it a peaceful spot to relax.

This hotel is an amazing place in Waligama.. we had a room in front of the swimming pool..we really enjoyed that . the room is specious and super clean. the host is a great person also he is very friendly.. lwish i could've extended my stay.

A peaceful, secluded and quiet yet very central home, with everything one could possibly need around the corner. The bay (that happens to be a home to five very gentle sea turtles) just a quick barefoot walk away. And most importantly - what a wonderful family! We felt home from the minute we arrived. Each person brought something unique and special to our stay. Nipun - one of the nicest and interesting men I’ve met. A heart of gold. Danuli made us the most beautiful card, and was always there to welcome us back from the beach. Cobi - the dog who stole our hearts. The mum who tickled our taste buds. The dad who saw to our every need. Best night. Best sleep. Best homestay. Thank you! We’ll be back very, very soon.
