Randy took us on his motorbike to visit the amazing landscape and lake around. We felt good from the very beginning and felt sad to leave such great people and souls.

We could have one of our best sleep in Sri Lanka, thanks to the great beds, AC and barely any mosquitoes. You might find small bugs, but it’s something expected in a location in the nature. The breakfast and dinner were copious and delicious, with a few choices for dinner (rice and curry was spectacular) We organized a full day safari, the best have had so far in Sri Lanka (we have done 3 in total. Breakfast, lunch with curries and plenty of cold drinks and snacks were provided. The driver was gentle driver (drivers tent to be aggressive to find the best spot) and thanks to his sharp eye we could spot many animals: peacocks, water buffalos, families of deers, many birds and a magnificent leopard. We could also see a few elephant families with babies and younger elephants, so close we would have the impression we could touch them! It was an unforgettable experience for our family. The host went above and beyond to meet all our needs: safari, laundry, Tuk Tuk for a visit to the beach, a taxi service to our next destination… they even would buy us curd with honey as it’s a local specialty and we absolutely loved it! We would recommend this place without hesitation and we are looking forward to coming back in a future!
