Granados guesthouse was something special. Having been on the road for a little while, I knew that I would need a place to stay that was away from the hostels and allowed me to have some time for myself. As I turned the corner into the calle, I felt at home immediately. The surrounding neighborhood was very friendly and welcoming to me. Of course this extends to the hosts of the guesthouse. All of the people who work there were very helpful and very friendly. Even when there was a tiny bit of confusion regarding the cost of the stay (completely my own misunderstanding) the hosts explained everything in full. The suite was very clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and there was more than enough room for maybe 3 or 4 people to be in this suite comfortably. The bedroom was well air-conditioned and, being the sole occupant, I was able to adjust it to my liking. There was no air conditioning unit in the rest of the suite, but it didn't matter because the fans were effective at spreading cooler air to the rest of the apartment from the bedroom. The air-conditioning was definitely needed and was very reliable. The WiFi was strong and the suite contained two televisions that worked very well. There's a veranda or terrace with two chairs as you come into the front door of the apartment . You have a perfect view of the Mombacho Volcano. It was perfect to spend time on it after a long hot day exploring Granada with an ice cold seltzer or beer. I enjoyed a couple of cigars too. I checked with Belford and he said that this was fine. Breakfast was made and brought up to the room for me in the morning by la señorita, she was very kind in helping me with directions to the bus station and help with my laundry. The food was ample enough for a keen hiker and explorer like myself. I am really pleased with my stay and will be recommending this place to everyone I meet.

Everything was exceptional, but the real gem of this place are its owners. Wonderful people that will do everything in their power to make your stay amazing.

Isla Mirabel er einstök upplifun á einkaeyjum og státar af garðútsýni. býður upp á gistirými með garði og svölum, í um 22 km fjarlægð frá Volcan Mombacho. The place is beautiful. You have the island for yourself and you cannot get bored since it has different set up’s from where you can enjoy the lake and the view. We loved it!
