It was an amazing stay at Honey Cottage! We honestly loved every bit of it — the hot tub with the stunning mountain views, the cosy wooden stove that kept us warm, and all the thoughtful little touches like having mobile chargers ready for us. Every tiny detail was taken care of, and it truly made this the best part of our whole trip. The honey tasting was such a sweet experience and it honestly made me want to buy every type of honey you have — it was that good! We also had the most incredible night stargazing; it felt magical. We really regret not staying longer because we didn’t want to leave! This has been, without a doubt, the best stay we’ve had in our lifetime. We’ll definitely be posting a great review, and we’ll 100% be back for another stay. Thanks again for everything, Tracey — you made our trip unforgettable. Thank you Tracy and Micael.

From free drinks in the fridge and home made bread for breakfast to the luxury bath robes and towels. The room was beautiful and the bed so good I slept in! I am only sorry I couldn't stay a little longer.

Great location, amazing communication, and the place itself is gorgeous with comfy beds and a great personalized touch from Hugh and Jude on arrival. Will definitely book again on our next trip to South Island. Have to mention the blue cod from the tavern close by recommended by Hugh was the best fish and chips I ate in my life.

The approach to the home is spectacular-a long tree-lined drive with overhanging branches leading to a private estate with English gardens. Our bags were delivered before we arrived and the host family had arranged to have them delivered to our apartment. We had the "loft"- a second floor apartment built upon the garage which had also been built out into an apartment. The resident of the downstairs apartment came out to greet us and was a very charming and welcoming hostess. We found the apartment to have all of the amenities we needed and we were quite comfortable, The location on the rail trail was convenient for our travel but required a significant walk to get into town for dinnner.
