Barrocas do Mar er staðsett í Prainha de Baixo á Pico-eyjunni og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að heitum potti. Gistirýmið er með garðútsýni og verönd. We travelled Azores for 2,5 weeks and had 5 accommodations on 4 different islands. I can definitely say this one was the best! The view is magnificent, the apartment is spacious (we had T2 - 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open kitchen and living, terrace etc), very clean and equipped with everything you need (including washing machine and dryer - shared and dishwasher - a huge difference for me). All rooms have their own AC - not really needed at night, it was enough to open them only for a couple of hours in the evening when we returned. It’s a quiet and remote area - plan carefully to take supplies on your way to accommodation or to eat before.. there is nothing available (shops or restaurants walking distance). We preferred to shop on our way (HiperCais in Sao Roque is ok) and cook our dinners to be able to enjoy the place and the view more. We did not use the shared jacuzzi, but it looked really nice. There are 2 cats wondering around - we enjoyed their presence, fed them and played. However, if you are not a cat person, make sure you close the doors at all times - they are used to entering the house😊

The host is extremely nice and kind, helping me with laundry service, renting bike and hailing taxi etc. As I need to get up early before breakfast time to climb mount pico, she even prepared snacks and sandwich for me. The facility is top with fully equipped kitchen and pleasant common area. The majority of guests are Germans.

Quinta da Baía - AL is situated in Arrife. With sea views, this accommodation features a patio. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The location was excellent. Great views from the balcony across the bay. Lovely apartment which was well equipped. Our washing dried super quick outside with the help of the Azorian breeze! Christina was lovely and she lent us her binoculars too. Car parking space next to the apartment.

The location is wonderful, the ocean view in front the house is amazing. The house is very clean and cozy place, everything is organized with attention to details and love. Dee is an amazing hostess. Her property and garden is amazing. She takes extra care to ensure your stay is exactly what you need. I loved the view of the ocean and the special treats that she would offer. I feel that I have made a friend for life and cannot wait to stay there again!

Cantinho dos Cagarros er staðsett í Lajes do Pico og býður upp á gistirými með loftkælingu og verönd. We stayed 5 nights in this wonderful little house and we enjoyed it very much, although living room with kitchen was smaller as expected. No traffic noise, just the sound of waves from the sea and the sound of the cagarros. The sea view is spectacular, which we enjoyed sitting in front of the house and even sitting in the house. As there were signs on the little street to the house showing the way to the house, it was very easily to find. The host was very helpful and we would be happy maybe to stay there again.
