Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels er 200 metrum frá Porto Moniz-náttúrusundlaugunum í Porto Moniz. Boðið er upp á gistirými með aðgangi að gufubaði og heitum potti. Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Three House Hotel er með útisundlaug, líkamsræktarstöð, garð og verönd í Funchal. Wonderful hotel in the heart of Funchal. Stylish rooms, a unique rooftop terrace with cocktail bar and pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A special thank to Sidonio from the reception! We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Fantastic view on the ocean (room 112), one of the best we have ever seen. Very hospitable personnel , rooms were clean, cool natural swimming pools.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. The location of the hotel was fabulous brilliant views of the sea and the staff were so friendly and very helpful when we had to stay an extra night as our plane home was cancelled! The hotel also provided a very good complimentary mini bus service to the start and finish of various walks and to Funchal and to the airport. Thoroughly recommend the hotel and place!

S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal var nýlega enduruppgert og er staðsett í Machico, nálægt ströndunum Pedradeira og Ribeira do Natal. Þessi gististaður við ströndina er með aðgang að svölum. Great place with all necessary staff for travellers. A lot of cafes and restaurants just in a few minutes walks. Pedro is a super friendly and active host, who gave a plenty of local recommendations and directions. Coffee machine with the capsules did my mornings happy)

Quinta' Home er gistirými í Ribeira da Janela, 5,4 km frá Porto Moniz-náttúrusundlaugunum og 40 km frá Girao-höfðanum. Þaðan er útsýni til fjalla. Good location for exploring north side of the island. Very clean, comfortable beds and you will find everything you need for your stay. We were even greeted with a nice bottle of wine, pleasant surprise.

Panoramic House er staðsett í Quinta do Almeida, nálægt Lugar de Baixo-ströndinni og 3 km frá Ribeira Brava-ströndinni en það býður upp á verönd með útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu, garð og sameiginlega... Location was great, I loved the big kitchen, the shared spaces, the garden, the outside sittings, the shower was new and nice, enough parking, the host gave us some product from the garden, good beds.

Casa do Avô er staðsett í Ponta og býður upp á verönd með útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu, garð og grillaðstöðu. do Sol, nálægt Lugar de Baixo-ströndinni og 2,5 km frá Ponta do Sol-ströndinni. Super, super clean, well appointed accommodation with ocean views, wild style garden and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable, relaxing family stay. Great host who was easy to communicate with. The only drawback for a person who is mold sensitive like myself was the humidity smell in the downstairs bedroom. Something that seems to be pretty ubiquitous on an island with so much water everywhere.

Sunset Star with Sea View er staðsett í Calheta, í innan við 2 km fjarlægð frá Calheta-ströndinni og 24 km frá Girao-höfðanum. Boðið er upp á herbergi með ókeypis WiFi. We were in the accommodation for the weekend- great placement and great views from the terrace. Clean and the communication was great. During our stay we managed to unfortunately lose the key of the property but in 10 minutes the host managed to replace this at no extra cost. Really appreciated this and the swift response.
