This property was incredible and the owners were a pleasure to deal with. any communication throughout our stay was responded to straight away. I needed to book this place in a hurry, because we were let down by our first choice of accommodation. The first property we had arrived at in Devon was horrendous, so we needed to find somewhere quickly. This was booked early in the morning and we checked in later that day. Louise and Mark were so accommodating, allowing us to go and leave our luggage there whilst they finished off getting the place ready for our check in, so we were able to meet them for a chat and they were just the nicest people. Their adult son was there helping them too, which I thought was a lovely touch, he was equally as nice and friendly. 😊 We arrived back later in the afternoon, and to say we were delighted with the cottage was an understatement. The place had a modern, fresh feel to it and we all thoroughly enjoyed being there. It was immaculate. The facilities in the kitchen were just like home from home it had absolutely everything we possibly need. The place was just lovely. A bottle of Prosecco left on the kitchen side for our arrival was just such a nice touch and the icing on the cake. 🥰 Lovely bedding, lovely towels, sofa was super comfortable and so were all of the beds. The setting was absolutely beautiful with cows in fields opposite and amazing views all around. We were 4 adults and 3 boys (aged 8, 10 and 11) and we had plenty of room. I cannot honestly recommend this property enough and anyone visiting it will be delighted with it, I am certain of that. We will definitely be visiting again in the future. Thank you so much again to Louise and Mark you were fab! 🥰

This was an absolutely perfect location for an inter-generational family holiday (six of us). The cottage is well-designed and equipped with everything we needed. The views across the rolling Devon farmlands were stunning and we loved listening to the nearby stream running past our windows. It is well located for outings to Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay and despite inclement weather at times we were able to enjoy a walk across the farmlands and outside play for the children. Our hosts Martyn and Catherine made us feel very welcome.

Our host Roger goes above & beyond for his guests. The little flat has everything we needed. Even supplying us rides from the train station on Arrival at 930 pm and departure by bus at 7am. We had a couple requests. The heat was not warm enough for us and rodger turned it up immediately upon request. We had a problem with the key getting stuck and the lock was repaired. The rooms were lovely. Fresh clean linen. A little wash machine was wonderful to use after we figured it out. Rodger has been hosting for many years. A true delight to have conversation with about totnes and surrounding area. If I'm ever to go to totnes again would book the little elbow room again. The location was walking distance for everything we needed. The natural food store right across the street. The hill going up and down the main street of shops. Totnes castle was a block away. Excellent choice !
