We were greeted warmly even though we arrived very early in the morning. The family who run the place are very accommodating. It’s a short tuk tuk to the Taj and other sites. When not sightseeing, Shiv Kathi is a relaxing place to unwind and includes a sitting area outside the rooms.

Vikrant and his family and staff went far above and beyond to welcome us (at 2:10am) after delays in transportation. They were exceptionally helpful throughout our stay - providing restaurant recommendations, ground transportation advice, Taj Mahal visit. Nothing seemed too much - felt like we were the only visitors in their hotel - which we were not. And, they were honest - could have charged us more for breakfast and did not. Could not have asked for anything more in a stay and we have high expectations. Would not hesitate to book here again - they were incredible!

The staff, manager and drivers are 5 star. They are all extremely helpful and attentive. Many activities were arranged through the venue and thoroughly enjoyed them. Tour guide was great. Room was great value for money and loved the upgraded deluxe room.

Boutique, trendy, home-like. Cute little dog hanging around the lobby, sooo cute. Totally courteous staff!
