We could not have asked for a better stay. The location was perfect, a 10ish minute walk from the ferry so we didnt need a car, right on the square with all the restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, so delicious with many options. The bed was SO comfortable, I took a photo of the sheets they were so soft. The whole place was tasteful with so many little touches to make it attractive, homey, and comfortable. What a perfect place. The owner is amazing, so accommodating, she allowed us to check in early, leave our stuff all day after check out (for no fee) and come back before our ferry to pick it up. My only regret is we didnt stay longer

Al 28 B&B Portoferraio on Via Giosuè Carducci 28, is an immaculate, beautiful, tastefully curated, art deco B&B apartment, operated by the friendliest and welcoming couple, Barbara and Andrea., who throughly enjoy operating their B&B! This B&B was booked way in advance, so I was communicating with Barbara early on about getting the ferry from Piombino to Portoferraio in January. We knew that not many restaurants would be open, but there were plenty of choices in our neighborhood for casual dining and worth the drive for a special one recommended by our hosts. Our room was warm, with very comfortable queen size beds for each of us, including cozy comforters. Breakfast (a true work of art!), was presented in the well equipped kitchen with a surprising abundance of home made items-jams, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and wonderful coffee! There was home made yogurt with amazing toppings, savory items and hard boiled eggs, to top off a sustaining breakfast. Everything was presented on colorful, plates, bowls, glasses and cups. We enjoyed breakfast in the beautiful dining room, on a vintage table, surrounded by plants, art and the sound of twittering parakeets. With our ZTL permit, we could park next to our building. If no parking was available, we improvised at the port with no problem.

The hosts are super nice, there is a nice garden and a lot of space for bikes. Marco gave us great advice about the island and biking routes. Also, the apartment is spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need.

Hotel Aurora er staðsett í Chiessi, 100 metra frá Chiessi-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistingu með sameiginlegri setustofu, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og bar. Beautiful setting so close to the beach. Very peaceful and tranquil. Breakfast was delicious with almost everything homemade. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and did everything possible to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

This was a beautiful small house with a lovely garden and a fantastic view overlooking the Procchio Gulf. The beds were comfortable and the rooms felt cozy and inviting. We particularly enjoyed the private terrace, perfect for grilling and even equipped with an outdoor shower, which was a nice touch. It was also exceptionally quiet, offering perfect silence, which was truly restorative. The owner, Michele, was incredibly helpful; he not only picked us up from the port and drove us to the house, but also guided us to the best places and routes to explore the island. His assistance was especially invaluable as we unexpectedly encountered a national strike in Italy during our stay, making train and other public transportation impossible. An added bonus was that Michele also rents out bikes (both normal and electric), which was perfect because riding around Elba Island is an absolute must!

B&B Il Casale di Monserrato er til húsa í 17. aldar byggingu en það er staðsett í hæðunum í kringum Porto Azzurro, í þjóðgarðinum Arcipelago Toscano. We had a fantastic stay at Casale di Monserrato. It is a charming and peaceful place that is very well decorated and maintained. The room of old stones is clean and cosy and we were welcomed with a Prosecco. The garden is beautiful with its outdoor pool, surrounded by the wild valley of Sanctuario di Monserrato. Luca is a friendly and dedicated host with an eye for detail. He gave us some excellent recommendations about beaches and restaurants on the island which he knows extensively since he was born there. Rosaria, who we had breakfast chats with, is also very friendly. The breakfasts are excellent, especially the orange and lemon marmalade. We highly recommend this place to couples and families. The location is ideal, close to Porto Azzurro for drinks and dinner in the evening after a long day of outdoor activities but at the same time the Casale has its own calm in the valley.
