There's been a few changes from previous reviews. The internet flies and is faster than most Australian connections. The Starlink satellite connection runs at 60 meg down and 40 up. You won't get better than that. There is hot water in the shower. Push the power button on (the red box), and move the temp to 37 deg, and it works fine. This is like a genuine homestay. There is family visiting all the time. Kids, dogs, roosters, and a pig make it a rustic experience. Rooms perfectly adequate. ATMs a 10 minute walk, supermarket 12 minutes and town only 20 minutes.

Perfect place away from the hustle and bustle of town. Right next door has a quaint restaurant, three minutes down the road fresh seafood. They accommodated me with a downstairs unit due to my disability. But I wish I could have stayed upstairs the view was spectacular, I could never be grateful enough to Uliti and Mele, office staff was friendly, kind, all of the above just awesome.

We were immediately welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was private, and the strong fan kept us cool. The home is a short walk to the beach, and we enjoyed walking along the waterfront into town. It was far from city nose and peaceful at night. 'Ofa and Saffron picked us up from the airport, waited while we bought phone data, drove us to a market for produce, and then drove us to the store for other food before helping us get settled in. 'Ofa drove us back to the airport when we left and offered to stop anywhere we wanted to see as well. They are wonderful people. -Denise and David

Dayspring Lodge is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Nuku‘alofa, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The owner and her family were wonderful and very hospitable. The brekkie was a nice assortment of local fruit and toast. She arranged for a ride from the airport with a nice, local man. I definitely recommend this place.

*Alternative Accommodations. If our rooms are full, we have a sister hotel Tropical Villa to ensure you still have a comfortable place to stay. Angelo, the owner, is amazing and such a gracious host! Any time something would not work correctly, he was immediately on the job! Mala was also super awesome - very friendly and packed all of our huge bags up to our rooms.

Both WiFi and an airport shuttle service are available for an additional charge. Ateca and Cassandra and the housekeeping managers looked after me very well.
