Our family loved the living reef tour at the resort. We did the snorkel activity which was an incredible experience for my son and I who are both new to snorkeling. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind.

The view is absolutely stunning! It really made the place!! The location is great as long as you have a car as it’s not in the heart of Airlie Beach. It is too far to walk to cafes, shops etc. We were aware it was out of town and we were fine with that. It is a lovely quiet area. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I loved the little touches - nice coffee, coconuts for us to open and eat, cereal, juice, jams, honey and other snacks for us. The view from inside the room was amazing!! They had phone chargers to use incase you forgot yours. There was a hammock to lay in to watch the stars and a small fire pit full of timber to use. Perfect place to chill out and read a book.

    Absolutely stunning place. Turquoise waters, beaches with corals chiming under your feet, spectacular sunsets, plenty of secluded spaces to enjoy the views in total silence, wallabies (little kangaroos) everywhere, birds, rainforest walks. Lagoons and pools with local coral fish and rays – and underwater observatory to have the best possible view of the coral reef ecosystem even without snorkelling. Beautiful swimming pools. Pretty much everything you could wish for.

    The setting is idyllic, and there is plenty to do. Lovely swimming pools, well kept gardens, a living reef. Entertainment indoors such as music and quizzes, outdoors there is free kayaking and sailing. There are also paid activities and trips. The staff are exceptional, friendly, helpful, courteous. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, and there are also choices for snacks and evening meals. The room was a good size, well equipped with outdoor seating as well.

    the restaurant building and food both great. the rooms clean and more modern than the corridors would portray. the massage at the spa amazing quality from masseuse who only starting working there a week ago. lovers cove pretty setting. parts of swimming pool near waters edge had nice wicker pods and shade umbrellas.

    Such a relaxing holiday. Great for families and couples. We loved the living reef snorkelling and Stingray feeding with the marine biologists. The breakfast was great and the 3 restaurants had a lovely variety to choose from. Lovely swimming pools as well as a swim up bar. We couldn't recommend Daydream Island more and will definitely be returning.
