The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. They helped us soak in a hot tub even though we didn’t book a room with one, and they helped us find a driver for Qingcheng Mountain, which we were visiting. They also helped store my medicine in the fridge. In addition to the staff, the location and food were also great. We had snacks and tea in the evening, and a large breakfast with variety in the morning.

10/10 Absolutely incredible pick! We flew all the way to Dujiangyan and hit the jackpot booking Le Ke Wild Mountain Homestay. Nestled in lush green woods, it’s pure paradise with jaw-dropping views everywhere. There are fantastic hiking trails and cool stream wading spots around the property. The sweet hostess even leads guests on relaxing forest bathing sessions to soak in the fresh mountain air. On top of that, the homemade local food here is unbelievably delicious. The hosts are absolute legends—super friendly, gave us insider local food and hiking spots we’d never find on Google. If you’re an overseas traveller chasing quiet nature and genuine warmth, book this place without a second thought. We’re already planning our return trip!
