Walking in to Lomani was truly a "WOW" moment and you instantly fall in love. Lomani has the most incredible view up on the hill of the Somosomo Straight right from it's own pool, it honestly doesn't feel real! We cooked our own breakfast in the large kitchen, loved roaming the grounds to find fruits (like pineapples) and tropical flowers. The wifi and Netflix are awesome additions too, but we just found ourselves enjoying switching off and gazing into the stunning sunsets and showered under the stars. Knox was so helpful and picked us up from the ferry, drove us to the shops for supplies, and lots of activities, including the beautiful Bouma falls and we also snorkelled the insanely colourful rainbow reef (amazing dive shop just down the road!). Our experience was enriched greatly by Knox and we enjoyed our time getting to know him. Saskia is also a fabulous host who communicated everything we needed to know before our stay. Glass bottom kayaks and snorkel gear are also available but sadly we ran out of time to use them. There are so many activities to chose from, or equally opportunities to just relax, recharge, and connect with nature and each other. Knox even worked tirelessly all day to cook us a traditional Lovo on our final night at Lomani, which was so delicious and very memorable. It rained quite heavily during our time but it didn't dampen our experience at all. Lomani is a quaint cottage that feels cosy and spacious like home (but with ten times more incredible views). There is something deeply special about Lomani and we hope to return one day but stay longer than three nights. Taveuni is a tranquil, quiet, lush garden island teaming with wildlife, fruit, flowers and creatures (like frogs and geckos), along with such kind hearted people. Unlike anywhere we have ever been before. We are from a busy city and loved how Taveuni is the opposite.

The view is incredible, the location is really convenient (restaurants, shops, diving, airport and gelato stall all in walking distance), breakfasts are great. The two best things for me were the host's generous sharing his local knowledge and the sense of calm and ease at the property.

    The Aroha was an incredible place to stay. We loved every bit of our stay, especially the outdoor shower and incredible position on the beach. The restaurant, gardens and pool were superb.

    This fabulous oceanfront property includes its own restaurant, run by an outstanding chef. Lovely freshwater pool - literally like swimming in Fiji water. The garden and facilities were beautifully maintained. Short walk to some local shops for supplies. The cabins (bures) were extremely comfortable and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities. The Kiwi owners and their predominantly local staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and address all and every need. Airport transfers were a treat.

    Great staff, nice beachfront view (although beach itself is just ok), and pool. The restaurant was also excellent (order of the lunch/dinner specials, not the standard menu).

    Stunning location, gardens and great designed rooms. Loved the views and outdoor shower, comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and efficient- great to see Dennis and Ngaire’s support with training and opportunities. Restaurant was so good to have on site for lunch and dinner - especially enjoyed the focaccias and fish (fresh snapper caught a few hours earlier!) Room and views are even better than the photos!

    We wanted a isolated place blocked away all of buzzy from noisy world, and enjoy a relaxed vacation. This is a ideal choice. We usually go snorkelling in the morning which you can see the most beautiful corals and myriad fish. In the afternoon, we hanged around pool, laid on the chair, read and listened music. The food are delicious. The staff and owner’ couple are nice and took good care of us.

    Beautiful location, spacious room with a very large bed. Appreciated a large fridge and microwave. The pool was great. Area very quiet. Handy location for going diving. And we arranged a waterfall trip - well organised with a great packed lunch.

    The staff were incredible, so friendly and welcoming! Our room was so spacious, we loved the outdoor shower, it very much felt like an island get away. The location is great with a beautiful snorkeling location in front of the units. Dennis the owner had great recommendations and helped us book all of our tours, I would recommend the village tour it was such a great experience. The restaurant had specials every night, very tasty! Also great woodfire pizzas, and I couldn't get enough of the Pina coladas

    Beautiful very small resort. Incredible well-maintained property with fabulous rooms, staff, food, pool and snorkeling right out front during high tide. What’s not to love!
