The resort is immaculate. Brand new and absolutely stunning. Garth and Amanda are the best hosts you could ask for. The location is amazing and the hospitality is unmatched. Highly recommend!

Outside bungalow is a quiet place. Very close to YOYO. Surf break. It is super convenient for early morning sunrise and evening sunsets surf sessions. The rooms are very clean and modern. With all new furnishings. The outdoor shower that each room has is very convenient when returning from surf sessions to get all the sand and salut water off. The staff, especially Bob, are very helpful and friendly!

My experience here at Kahurangi was great! The staff was very inviting and helpful from the start! They were very keen to help with whatever I asked for ie. fresh towels or cutleries if I took back food. Gusti, Risti and staff were all amazing people and made my stay in Sumbawa all that much more. I’m definitely coming back here to stay. Rooms were neat and tidy, comfy beds, ac was on point during this time(September), hot showers, they had cold drinking water in the common area so if you had a water bottle, refilling was great! Had a nice pool, good spot to hang when the beach was too windy, couple day beds and few bean bags to lounge around the pool. The location was great, 5 mins walk to yo-yos or 1 min scooter ride. Lisa’s garden is just around the corner or happy resto as well. Would recommend to friends and family! Price is pretty good/affordable per night. Wish I could’ve stayed another week! Thank you to the staff at Kahurangi, you’ve made my stay here well worth it! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
