The hotel is situated on the hill top with beautiful views on Tuscany, surrounded by park and forest. It is beautiful, big hotel, consists of many buildings/wings. There is a pool, restaurant, and breakfast is held also outside on the terrace with amazing view. The breakfast is rich, various options also for vegan, gluten free or other diets. Room was beautiful, stylish, big, clean with coffee machine and with the balcony overlooking the valley. Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking is available but it is quite difficult to find it at first (especially in the evening). It was really an amazing stay.

Our stay at Burlamacchi Villas was simply exceptional! The apartments are set in an idyllic setting with beautiful mountain views and a view of the Duomo in Barga. The property and grounds are extremely well maintained and spotless. The pool area is beautiful. I have family in the area and it is a very convenient spot to visit them and the surrounding towns of Barga, Lucca and Castelnuovo. I have stayed there 4 times now and plan to go back. My flight was 2 hours late and I arrived at the property at 1am . Roberto was extremely helpful in ensuring I was able to access the property at this time. He is also extremely responsive to any messages and concerns and sorted a blown light bulb immediately. He lives locally with his family and for this reason any problems that do arise, can always be sorted in a timely manner. I must admit the blown lightbulb is the only issue I have had throughout all my visits. I messaged him and went out shopping for a couple of hours and it was sorted when I came back . I would certainly recommend the apartments.

nice and quiet area amazing host 10/10 for everything i enjoyed my evening walks to town wee tip bring a torch and possible high vest with you as there no street lights but still very safe .But u want drivers to see u

Everything, the view, the farm house, the local area … simply outstanding

From the moment we met Riccardo, he made us feel completely at home. Throughout our stay, he was always on hand with local advice and tips that proved invaluable. The pool was absolutely incredible, with breathtaking views, and our apartment had everything we could possibly need. Honestly, I’m not sure the photos do the location justice—it far surpassed our expectations in every way. Beautiful Barga is just a short walk as are all amenities needed. Thank you, Riccardo! We’ll definitely be back.

Great location and lots of outdoor space

The apartment was great, spacious, clean, with quality furniture and some personal items which made it feel homely. Riccardo is a very welcoming and generous host, very ready to help with information , whether about trains or restaurants, or the history of the area, it seems as if he really wants his guests to enjoy staying in Barga and will make an effort to ensure that we do. The property is beautiful with stunning views, it feels secluded and peaceful. The interior design was some of the best I have seen in Italy, rustic but comfortable. The hosts were so hospitable and welcoming, I would really recommend!

Lovely welcome and lovely area. House, gardens and pool excellent. Really happy here. Roads a bit tight, however I had no issue in big hire car.
