We only stayed one night at Tenuta di Tramonte Boutique Hotel, but we truly wish we had stayed longer. Lorenzo was incredibly welcoming and communicative, making us feel right at home—as if we were part of his family. The estate itself is beautiful, producing its own wine and olive oil, and the garden provides fresh ingredients for the delicious meals served at the restaurant. It’s a perfect stop for visiting Lucca and Pisa, and we will definitely be back!

"The place is very clean and absolutely beautiful. I loved how it has preserved its old charm in such an elegant way. The hotel is a historic palace, and some rooms still maintain the original wall paintings, which is truly fascinating. Inside the palace, there is also a cave and five indoor and outdoor thermal pools filled with natural hot sulfur water. The pools rely entirely on natural thermal waters coming from the mountain springs. These springs are rich in minerals such as sulfates, calcium, and magnesium, making them therapeutic and beneficial for the joints, skin, and overall relaxation, without any chlorine. The ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. My stay was wonderful, and I will definitely repeat it."

Everything. Really comfy beds and pillows. Great quality linen. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful pool. And the staff were exceptional. Only a short walk to the walled city. I would highly recommend this place.

The view from this property is absolutely magnificent. The vibe of the place is peaceful, magical and serene: imagine sitting in one of the many intimate places provided in the olives orchard, enjoying the sun and pleasant breeze looking at the fantastic view, just above the infinity pool and the old and beautifully restored monastery building enjoying one glass of cooled wine made by Villa Volpi and one of the books from their beautiful library. We had the perfect holiday here. We will return for sure. Very good, typical Italian dinner (apetizers, meat, pasta and ice cream) and breakfast (eggs, prosciutto, mozzarella caprese, home made sweets, cereal, fruit)

Wonderful location and it is a beautiful place. Nice warm hotel with lovely people. Breafast and dinners were excellent.The pool is clean and well equipped.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this historic hotel in Tuscany and was delighted to be among the first guests following its reopening. The hotel's greatest strength is undoubtedly its location. It is perfectly positioned for exploring Tuscany, with easy access to Lucca, Pisa, Siena and Florence, while also providing a peaceful base from which to discover the many hidden gems of the surrounding countryside. What stood out most to me was the character and history of the property. The spacious rooms, charming atmosphere and beautiful setting create a unique experience that is increasingly rare to find. While the hotel is still in the early stages of its new chapter, it is clear that there is tremendous potential for the future. The hospitality I received throughout my stay was warm and genuine. The staff were consistently helpful, attentive and welcoming, and their kindness contributed greatly to the overall enjoyment of my visit. I believe this property has all the foundations to become a truly special destination with continued care and investment. It was a pleasure to witness the beginning of that journey, and I look forward to returning in the future to see how it continues to develop and flourish.

Absolutely beautiful villa. Just how you would imagine a Tuscan villa would look like.

Perfect accommodation for when in Lucca (or even making it your home for a Tuscany roadtrip). A lot of parking spaces and easy access to the city centre. The villa itself is beautiful, you feel like you’re in a Tuscan movie. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is plentiful and we even had dinner and it was also excellent. The pool area is nice and clean, perfect to relax after sightseeing. The staff is super nice, helpful and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back!

It felt very luxurious. It was very clean very spacious, the breakfast was excellent. Easy parking in behind. Highly recommend

Room . Location. And such a beautiful building

Position is ideal, but lower room very cold , no hand rail on steps to bed room, no towel hanger, need for new bath tawel. Very good kitchen for self catering. Good car parking but no possibility to go with car near the rooms with car to download luggage’s

A great little spot just any easy stroll out of the main walled area of Lucca. The owners were very friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and looked after. A great pool area with 15 sunbeds around the pool with umbrellas for shade and a great roof top area too. You even get the use of pool towels. All outdoor furniture seems new. Great for people with cars and/or if they like a walk or cycle into town.
