Travelling for 5 weeks across Italy with a 4 year old and a 10 month old is not easy, and we wanted a relaxing place to finish our trip for the last week. And boy, were we glad we picked this agriturismo farm to spend a week to wind down and live the slow life in the Umbrian country side. Everything was perfect, literally, and could only have been made better had we picked a better season to visit Italy as the weather was not ideal (but as we joked with Roberto, they will do everything they can to make you happy during your stay, but they unfortunately cannot control the weather :-) The highlight of our week has to be the warmth, care and generosity that Roberto and Rebecca offered us throughout our stay. They made us feel right at home in their beautiful farm. I've seen it in another review but Roberto goes above and beyond to be a great host, and even went as far as strolling our baby to let us enjoy the delicious food one of the nights. Speaking of which, the food is outstanding and you can tell Rebecca has a lot of talent to cook delicious Italian food, it was definitely some of the best dishes we had in our entire trip. We hadn't planned on eating there every night but ended up eating dinner there 5 out of 6 nights because it was so good. For accommodations, we chose the apartment which was actually great for our small family, since its on the first floor we could easily wheel the stroller in and out and bring our sleeping son to late dinners directly with the stroller. The rooms were spacious and the terrace out back was great for aperitivo while the sun was setting. Being offseason was also great because we got to get preferential treatment from Roberto who took the time out of his busy schedule to show our daughter a great time around the farm and let us play with his dogs! All in all, this place is a perfect spot to wind down with a family with 2 kids,,highly recommended. If we ever go back to Italy, we will stop by here, for sure!
