Great location, in a small & historic village up on the hill. Apartment had everything we needed plus a great view. Rita & Kirsty were so helpful, picking us up from the station & organizing taxis back from Varenna and Rita's in-house dinners & breakfast were great. A really memorable experience.

Exquisite,Wonderful I can’t express in words. I would definitely come again if I had a chance. In general the staff was amazing. Super thanks to Stefano as he was an angel and the kindest supporting staff ever:) Rooms are super tidy and clean. Sceneary and View THE BEST!!!! - View : Most people comment that the real Como starts from where the lake divides in 2 and you can see the breathtaking scenary from the hotel. I can guarantee this hotel has one of thr best view points. - Hotel Room : I was designated to a 1 bedroom, 1kitchen, bathroom house which was neat and clean when arrivied. Super cozy and everything you need to relax. Mostly you would find yourself in the main garden and other activites (swimming,tennis) - Location : please contact the hotel in advance and request for a taxi. Its not easy to grab a local cab in Varenna and for the 1st day with all you luggages please do as asked. Once you checked in, changr your shoes to nice comfy sneakers and go with foot. I suggest its a nice hike about 30min. Its literally a mountain hike trail but perfect amoun of workout to integrate in your vacation. Or just grab a cab but pleade be aware after 8pm it is not easy to grab a cab so please be aware! Besides, breakfast with outstanding view, amazing tennis court and swimming pool. My 2days here were one of the best expereiences in my life. Grazie mille! And hope to visit again soon!

Our stay in Varenna was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to this incredible place. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a true gem. The pictures really don’t do the place justice - it’s unbelievably stunning. The place is located up a windy road but there is a more direct footpath from the stay down to Varenna. It takes around 15/20 minutes to get down and around 25/30 to get back up. The path is steep but we often walked down and got a taxi back up later in the day / evening - only walking back up maybe 2/3 times. The walk down and up is do-able but if you had any difficulty walking it may be advisable to hire a car as I know many people had done. However, the views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking, rivalling those of many villa gardens in the area. Each morning, we were greeted with stunning panoramas that made our stay truly magical. We enjoyed sitting having a morning coffee or evening drink listening to music overlooking the mountain and flowers - truly breathtaking, very romantic and without question the most beautiful place I’ve stayed. The staff were amazing and exceptionally friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They provided us with some amenities to get us by as we did arrive a little late. The coffee was amazing! Varenna itself is so beautiful, it’s everything you want from Lake Como, the views, the food, the romantic walks, Gelato - it’s very easy to get to neighbouring towns - highly highly recommend this place.

Facilities were top notch. I recommend this place for anybody who wants personal and overwhelming service.

Fabulous views, pool facilities and spa.

The staff are very kind and flexible, and they speak many languages. The room is excellent value for money and clean. Breakfast is plentiful with a wide variety of options, and dinner is also delicious if you choose to have it. It's true there’s a bit of an uphill walk if you arrive by bus or ferry, but honestly—who doesn’t check the location of their accommodation before booking? :)

It's a well appointed, beautiful boutique hotel. Walking distance to the main town (but Jacopo the owner will be happy to drive you there). It has an unbeatable view of the lake and the breakfast is amazing, especially the scrambled eggs! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The villa was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The facilities were excellent and everything was clean and well maintained. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were great and perfect for relaxing. The view over Lake Como and Varenna was absolutely breathtaking. The host was very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

The location, albeit a little too far to walk so had to get taxis. The view was amazing . The kitchenette was very well equipped.

The place is wonderful, with amazing beautiful view, a wonderful apartment. We already knew the place as we stayed there 7 years ago, and fell in love, that's why we returned this year.

Very comfy apartment with an absolutely beautiful view at a quiet and calm location. It has all the essentials and is quite modern and very clean. The host was very nice and even picked us up from the train station, so we didn’t have to walk all the way up with our luggage.

Beautiful apartment with unrivalled views. We loved the jacuzzi and the pool. It was really nice being able to book our own slots at the pool. The air conditioning was bliss!

The view from this property is absolutely spectacular. It’s in a peaceful location close to Varenna to be able to get the ferry to other beautiful towns if you want to explore. Property has everything you need and more and is really a gem ! The booking system for pool and hot tub works and ensures everyone has the opportunity to use it.

Their was plenty of parking and the apartment was only a very short walk from the car park. It was easy to gain access to the apartment, where a welcome gift of wine and snacks was waiting for us. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, although it could possibly benefit from a little TLC as some things were a little tired looking and there were lots of duplicated pieces of equipment which felt a little cluttered, but nothing that spoilt the stay. The apartment had amazing views and was ideally located for exploring the area. The pool was lovely and was never busy, we often had the whole pool to ourselves. I can definitely recommend this apartment and area for anyone who wants to visit Lake Como.
