Kenya in general does not have nice hostels and accommodations; however this place is like an oasis in the desert. It’s amazing. Very peaceful and super nice. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm. Very quiet, clean, nice bathrooms, lockers, privacy curtains, mosquito nets (I never saw mosquitos in the rooms), hot water, great kitchen, nice little free breakfast, nice staff, super nice pool, good common areas, great WiFi, location is fine. There are tuk tuks everywhere. I ended up staying here 9 nights. This hostel is very new and you can tell.

I like the way the room was spacious and a very comfortable king size bed,I also enjoy the view from the balcony.Most of it all I like the peaceful sound of nature of which helped my stay to be restful.The host was very welcoming making the check in process seamless.I would highly recommend it for couples and also for the business traveler's.

This was a great house for our family. The house was exceptionally clean, The bedrooms were very comfortable, there were plenty of towels, plenty of beach towels, we loved the outdoor swimming pool,great walkability to beach and restaurants,Ultra quick response time to any of our needs,I'll definitely use them in the future.

The 2 bedroom was exactly what was pictured and was an ideal stay for us with kids. The staff and owner were pleasant and proactive to welcome us and ensure we were in a clean comfortable space. I would come here again as it was value for money. It's next to Kijani cottages which has many amenities for kids to play.

Spending five night at Flamboyant Diani Beach has been an absolute delight. Arty, Angie and their entire staff have been professional and always eager to ensure their guests are having a wonderful stay. Hospitality gets top marks. The pool is quite large for the size of the resort and it has always been spotless. The beach is also beautiful. Quite wide a low tide, soft sand but very comfortable to walk on. And you can walk several kilometres in either direction. When swimming in the ocean, water shoes are highly recommended as sea urchins can be found in some areas. (As I type, the camel caravan is walking by) Breakfast is delicious and there are several options to choose from. The English Breakfast is hearty and tasty. For dinner we ate at Faulty’s, which is on the Flamboyant property, and at the Flamboyant main restaurant, as well as the Friday beach buffet at Asha Boutique, which is a 10 minute beach walk to the left. The Ali Barbour’s Cave restaurant is a 1 minute walk from Flamboyant. Make your reservation well in advance. The 5:30 seating allows you to see the cave transition from day to dusk to dark. The late sitting is lit by the lanterns in the cave walls, candles and the moonlight. Both experiences are very enjoyable, as is the food. All meals were quite affordable. $20/pp at hotel restaurant; $25/pp at Faulty’s or Asha, $50/pp at Ali Barbour, including a beer. The bar at Flamboyant has a nice assortment of mixed drinks, soft drinks, beers ($5). Other tips - we booked a snorkeling excursion from a “beach boy” for $25/pp. took glass bottom boat to small nearby reef and snorkeled for roughly 2 hours. Very enjoyable and excellent value. Overall, Flamboyant is a place I can highly recommend to friends and family. Would gladly return. Resort is a $50 cab ride (for 4 people) to Mombasa airport. If you want to explore the Diani area, tuk tuks are everywhere.
