The lodge is set in a breathtaking location on the beachfront amongst the mangroves. Every detail of the place is well taken care of and well thought. The design of the rooms and bungalows is wonderful, and the rooms are aired by the beachfront breeze. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind - we can commend all of them and in particular manager Rufus, cook George, Sami, Asthman and Aisha. They made sure we had the best stay. We loved the food - the breakfasts are amazing - and would recommend asking George to cook a seafood platter with fresh fish caught on the day. We also much enjoyed kayaking at sunset amongst the mangroves and relaxing with a drink by the pool.

The whole place is a breath of fresh air. Their houses are goals, and everything about firefly eco is gorgeous. I liked the house I stayed, the tents were great and the food was delicious. The staff is 10/10. Mr. Jacob, in specific, was very kind, helpful and nice towards us. We loved every second of the stay at Firefly Eco.

Blue Monkey Beach Cottages is a recently renovated guest house in Wasini where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, private beach area, and garden.

Kaya Imani has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a garden and shared lounge in Msambweni. The hotel has a terrace and sea views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar.

Great breakfast, great retreat location, great housing, great everything. It's isolated if you want to stay isolated. but not to isolated to not be able to reach the nearby village and try the local atmosphere. we will definitely come back

We arrived at Sawa Sawa after an intensive 9 day Safari. We stayed 6 nights and absolutely loved the place: complete peace, tranquilliy, a nice beach, great fresh food from the hotel restaurant at reasonable prices, clean, good aircon, comfortable beds, basically all you need for a relaxing holiday. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Geoffrey, Husna, the gardner, the cooks and Miss Stacey who all made our stay and human relationship unforgettable. Special thanks also to Issa Mwakedete, the hotel' s personal fitness trainer and Taekwondo profi athlete who is avalable on call for personal training with guests on the beach. I did it everyday and it felt so refreshing to enjoy the rich breakfast after a good sweat and a swim. We already miss Sawa Sawa and its people. Thanks again.

Beautiful property and insane pool area! We were a group of friends in Msambweni for a wedding and this was a perfect place to stay. Overlooking beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Beautiful property in an equally beautiful location. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience. The food was average—not bad by any means, just nothing particularly memorable. One thing to note: the beach area does attract quite a few hustlers trying to sell goods and services. While this isn’t something the property owners can control, it did get a little tiresome after a while. That said, they were never rude or aggressive. A polite “We’re good” repeated a few times usually did the trick. Despite that minor inconvenience, we truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return.
