Hotels with Pools in Dambulla

Staff very friendly and genuine, and the rooms and property are lovely, this is a great stay.

My stay at Sundaras Resort & Spa was amazing! The jungle atmospheregave the resort a peaceful, natural vibe, and the large pool was perfect for relaxing. It’s just a short walk to the Golden Temple, and the resort offers fantastic Sigiriya and safari excursions. The rooms were spotless, and the food was excellent with a big variety to choose from. The staff were friendly and always helpful.

Really nice hotel right next to the Dambulla temple, you can even walk there, the SLion Rock is also really close. We made an Elephant safari with them and it was amazing! Siddu and all the staff there were super friendly and always ready to help with anything. I really enjoyed the hospitality.

Everything- but their staff is amazing. Super helpful and very courteous.

The staff was super friendly, was very close to Dambulla town and the bus station. The room was spacy and clean.

The room was nice, very close to dambulla cave temple and the city center. Breakfast was good and the staff's quite nice.

Perfect stay for families! The kids absolutely lived the poil, and we finally got to relax. Spacious rooms, recently renovated, great food and jungle atmosphere

Fantastic place! The staff was able to change our room at the last minute to one of the new ones with AC and it fit our family of 4 perfectly. The breakfasts and dinner we had there were excellent and vegan. We toured their gardens as well and it was very informative. Kids loved finding the lizards and frogs at night

Great, spacious and clean rooms. Really fun pool. Very nice and helpful owner. Very good value for money.

Beautiful gardens and ambience in the midst of the greenery the villas are located in, makes it more alive. Though my booking is last minute deals, they have upgraded my room. Loved their hospitality, I will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have leisure, cozy, nature filled stay. At the end of our stay the general manager has gifted us their own grown tea sample. Overall it's a great experience.

The place is around a lovely and well-kept garden, it is quiet, tranquil and secure...perfect location, about 150 meters from the main road... Breakfast was Sri Lankan style quite fulfilling... Loved it!

Everything about this place is tranquil and premium feeling. I felt incredibly relaxed by the lake, the room itself is much more roomy than I initially thought from the online picture.

the location and facilities are amazing, very well-maintained hotel in the middle of the nature. The dinner and breakfast were so delicious with big variety of food and drinks.

Conveniently located by the main road and next to a paddy field.

“Our Experience at Lavendish Country Resort was truly relaxing! The peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms made it a perfect getaway. The beautiful natural setting and delicious food added to the wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature in comfort!”

Peaceful atmosphere middle in the green but in town center. Spacious room. Great swimmingpool. Fantastic breakfast.

A lovely little star class hotel in the heart of Dambulla. The rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. The highlight is the swimming pool, a refreshing spot to relax after exploring the temples and caves nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the stay pleasant and welcoming. Great value for money in a convenient location.

I would give this place a 11 out of 10 if I could. Dambulla was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. The property is located slightly away from the Kandy highway near a lake, which means it is very peaceful. This is a newly opened property and everything looks and feels new. The hotel staff were at our service all the time, and made sure that we felt at home. We had a lovely breakfast every morning with local food like hopper and fresh fruits. Guests can also request for an English breakfast. You can also see some wild animals like bulls and peacocks from the breakfast area. There are monkeys in the area, but we did not see any during our stay. The famous cave temple is 20 minutes walk from this property, and I strongly recommend taking a walk instead of a taxi or tuk-tuk. The road to this property can be a bit dark in the evening, but you do not need to worry about safety in Dambulla. It is a very safe place and the locals are eager to welcome tourists. The manager arranged day trips to both Sigiriya and Anuradhapura for us at very reasonable rates. We had a memorable holiday in Dambulla and we would love to visit Dambulla again and stay at this property.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is very good value for money, the owner is very friendly and kind, he took us to Pidurangala Rock and Polonnaruwa and charged very economical prices. We also ate dinner and breakfast, both traditional and very delicious. The hotel is nice, hippy style, we had a nice sleep, the amenities all work, is no luxury but is all clean. We felt very welcomed and would definetly go back if we were to stay again in Dambulla.
