We had a wonderful stay at Wishing Tree Boutique Hotel. The views are absolutely stunning and the remote location makes it feel incredibly peaceful and special. It’s a bit hard to find at first, but that’s also part of the charm – you really feel away from it all. The hospitality was outstanding. Everyone working there was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay enjoyable. A special thank you to Mr. Sampath, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay and made us feel truly welcome. Being a new place, he was genuinely interested in also receiving regular feedback. This must enrich the experience of future guests further. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with architecture that lets in lots of natural light and frames the surrounding nature perfectly. The food and drinks were excellent – definitely try the bringala, it was a highlight for us! We also had a cooking class to make coconut pancakes organized for the guests, a peek behind-the-scenes where the magic happens! Unfortunately, we had some rough weather with strong winds during our stay, but the team did everything they could to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are also planning to hire a driver in the future, which will make getting around even easier for guests. All in all, a very special place with incredible views, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. We would happily return.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at GlenMyu Estate. Our hosts, Ruwanthi and Michael couldn't have been more kind and friendly. They live in paradise and are very open and happy to share it with their guests. The views are magnificent. Many different bird species inhabit or visit the property daily. The pool is truly beautiful and its surrounds are the perfect place to immerse oneself in serenity to the gentle sounds of trickling water from the stream. Our room was gorgeous! Everything is so cleverly and tastefully designed. I loved my tour with Ru showing me around their abundant garden...you name it, they grow it, and probably you will eat it at your next meal, prepared in a delicious way, often to a super Sri Lankan recipe. Ru has an extensive knowledge of the plants she grows and their culinary and medìcinal uses. Ru's cooking is out of this world. She is a magician in sauce making. Her freshly made bread is a delight to see at the breakfast table each morning, and her cinnamon buns are legendary. Ru gently introduced us to Sri Lankan cuisine and explained the ingredients and cooking methods used to produce these delicious dishes. We loved every moment of our three wonderful days in this paradise and hope we can return soon.

hidden treasure! was wonderful and a private getaway in the mountains of Sri Lanka! You really feel like you’re up in the clouds, as the views from your balcony and the breakfast at restaurant are breathtaking. All of the staff that I interacted with were so warm and genuine and kind. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. If you’re taking the train, the resort is a short drive from the train station Haputhale, but about an hour drive from the main town of Ella/Nine Arch Bridge/Adam’s Peak given with windy one lane mountain road. But, highly recommend!

I stayed at Villa Vista , and it was such a beautiful experience from start to finish. The villa sits right on top of a hill surrounded by nature waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the mist rolling over the mountains was just magical. The rooms were super clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell that the place is really well taken care of. The food was another highlight everything was freshly prepared and tasted amazing! Every meal felt homemade and full of flavor. The staff were honestly the best part, thank you nuwan and sampath for your services . They were so kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything. Their hospitality made me feel completely at home, and I really appreciated the warmth and care they showed throughout my stay.If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with great food and wonderful people. I’d definitely love to come back!
