It is a beautiful, luxurious, well-maintained resort. The staff was so wonderfully friendly and attentive to our every need. They learn your name after the first meeting. In particular Shaan truly tried to make us feel special. He arranged dinner reservations, drinks, explained things and always asked if he could help us in any way. He was always present with a smile and good conversation as with all the staff. Checking in was seamless. We were greeted warmly with a drink and taken to our room where everything was explained to us. The food was exceptional. Especially at the On the Rocks restaurant. We came to celebrate our anniversary and, truly, they made it so special! From the bottle of champagne and snacks on our arrival to a handwritten anniversary card, a special anniversary cake which we enjoyed for a few nights to a rose petal bubble bath. Another great touch was the small tray with a washcloth and spray water bottle and glasses of water as you are on a lounge chair at the pool or the beach

The staff were friendly and always had a smile on their faces and were always helpful in booking transportation and activities around Mauritius. The reception, the mini bar, the activities booking, the house keeping members were all friendly and always wanted to help as much as they can. the restaurant staff- they are the best, like all of them. We have the best experience, special shoutout to Vimla, she‘s the best! and also to the Pastry Chef/manager(?). i forgot his name. But he surprised me with a slice of my favorite cake from the resort. the food- we like the food variety here. my husband is a vegetarian and he had so many options. And we also love their pastries. They were delicious! the room- i like how the room is set up. It gives a sort of holding place, before the bed area. the pool- it was an experience watching the sunset while we were in the pool. the location- sunset location, such a beautiful view of the sunset.

Staying in The Ravenala Attitude was a great experience in general. Our room was very far from the reception, but we didn't mind walking much. Our room was really spacious, facing the river. The hotel has several restaurants you have to book your place in time, but you can always eat in the main restaurant. We especially liked Madame Ming, Kot Nu and BBQ restaurants, their managers, chefs and waiters were amazing! In general the staff is extremely kind, helpful and lovely. (Gilles, thank you for the tea selection!) Sometimes you don't even need to ask for something, they are paying attention and bring it for you even before you opened your mouth. The hotel is very clean, the garden is beautifully maintained. I especially love how environmental friendly the hotel is! We rented single kayaks, glass bottom double kayaks, played Bocca on the beach, participated in Yoga and Tai Chi lessons and cooking classes. Especially cooking classes were amazing! Thank you Madame Ming and Kot Nu for the incredible experience! We had a great time, inspite of being very unlucky with the weather.

    I had a wonderful experience. The food was very good, and the swimming pool was nice. The hotel has a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, always greeting us with a smile and a "good morning," even though we are Mauritian. Their warm hospitality made our stay more enjoyable.

    Absolutely wonderful stay at Ravenala. The resort is beautiful and has a wonderful layout, with gorgeous swimming pools and beach area. The kids club was lovely for the kids and the food was generally really good!

    Very nice facilities, restaurants to chose from where to dine kept eating interesting, was just a bit full when booking not always having options .... Staff was always friendly, helpful and willing to help. Large bar menu to chose from. Big swimming pool and beach without any rocks or stones, easy for swimming.

    beautiful stylish hotel, large room, comfortable and huge bed, beautiful bathroom. the entire facility surrounded by greenery, good breakfast, live music in the evening. There were very few guests during our stay, so we had the swimming pools and beaches at our own disposal

    The hotel itself is really beautiful, in a remote location with its private beach and two big swimming pools. Food is good and varied. Several restaurants but you need to book them some time in advance to get a chance to have a spot. The Junior suite was huge and super comfortable. Staff is numerous and very friendly. They were super accommodating for our checkin and checkout.
