Hidden Gem in Panglao – Super Relaxing & Friendly! My friends and I had such a great stay at Mayana Resort! If you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind while exploring Bohol, this is it. The location is quiet and relaxing, about 15 minutes from Alona Beach — far enough to avoid the noise but still close enough to get there easily by scooter or tricycle. We actually loved being away from the crowds and coming back to a calm, green oasis at the end of the day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with a cold drink and friendly smiles, and the service stayed consistently amazing throughout our stay. Big shoutout to Diana, who was always super helpful and professional, and to Anna at the bar and restaurant – she’s a gem! Our room was spacious, super clean, and really comfortable. Great bed, strong A/C, a nice modern bathroom, and even a balcony overlooking the pool. The little touches like a large safe (big enough for a laptop), fridge, and blackout curtains made a big difference. The pool was a favorite — clean, big enough to swim properly, and even has a deep end (over 7ft!). It's perfect for cooling off in the heat. Just watch the edges – they can be a bit rough, but it didn’t bother us. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we ended up eating there most nights. They offer everything from Filipino dishes to Austrian options (yes, ostrich burger too!), and the staff were happy to accommodate special requests — like making a veggie curry or poached eggs even though they weren’t on the menu. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with several options to choose from. The coffee and fresh juice were a great way to start the day. And when we had to leave early one morning for diving, they packed us up a breakfast to go — such a thoughtful touch! They also rent out good scooters, which made getting around super easy. And if you don’t drive, the staff can quickly call a tricycle or taxi for you.

Really enjoyed my stay in Villa de Gloria! Tucked away from the main touristy area in Panglao although only 20 minute motorbike ride. The property is nice and quiet, located ocean side. I had a view from my patio out into the ocean which was fantastic! The room was spacious, the property grounds are well maintained and the included breakfast was yummy! Highly recommend this stay!

Breakfast was very good. Love their bread. The coffee is VERY strong- be careful with it. Great central location. Not on a beach but is within easy driving distance of everything. Our room was very quiet at night, among the most quiet of any place I have stayed in the Philippines, and I have stayed at MANY places.

Super clean, everything is new, there’s an amazing pool and gym - exceptional for functional and CrossFit training. All this with an amazing value for the price. Lee was super hospitable and was happy to help us with anything.

For ~1000+ pesos, it's definitely amazing. Spacious and comfortable room with a balcony and nice views. It's comfortable and not tacky. We got the luxuries of a hotel for the price of a hostel. There's a pool downstairs, and it's not that far from the main city. They have a laundry service which was nice. They let us use their freezer to keep our ice cream in as well. Def has an old hotel feel to it, it will get better over time. They're doing lots of renovation and a new building is being made when we were there.

This property was the nicest over all the places i have ever stayed in. Don offered car rental and bikes and even diving gear. The property is hi end living in luxury!

Very nice room, i extended my stay multiple times. The caretaker lady does an excellent job. Motorcycle rental nearby. Excellent value for the price. Away from the hustle and bussle of Alona. Short walk to excellent swimming in Hinagdanan Cave.

Bigger place , has a covered area to hang the laundry. The owners are very helpful and attentive . The property provides us free shuttle to airport.

The owner is very accommodating even she far away and out of the country, she’s very detailed and very easy to please about my request, my whole family enjoys the Island of Bohol and surely will book this accommodation again whenever I come back! The location is very easy to reach alona panglao and also few minutes drive to tagbilaran city! All in was a great experience!

It was my first time in Bohol, and I honestly disliked every other resort I booked—I walked out of two different resorts after seeing the rooms. Staying at Vista Suites truly saved my trip. The place was spotless, and the bed was exactly as big and comfortable as I expected. Thank you to everyone at Vista Suites who helped me during my stay. A special thank you to Erika for always making sure I had everything I needed. I’m from the USA and have visited the Philippines twice, and Erika is the first person here who truly showed me genuine hospitality. Thank you as well to all the staff for singing Happy Birthday to my girl—it meant a lot to us.

Location! Location! Location! This is a fantastic value with a pool. Comfortable bed, pillows., Hot water, kitchen. Everything you need to enjoy your vacation As a local to the island, I highly recommend this as a staycation or vacation.

Super comfortable and easy to get around. We could even rent a scooter at seaview hills, and it felt like we were in the middle of everything. Beaches, city, tours. Thanks for booking the island hopping for us, it was amazing.

I can only recommend this hotel, it was our best stay during our Asia trip so far. Great value for money. The rooms, the pool and the small gym are well maintained and clean, the whole hotel is gorgeous. The staff is very friendly and happy to assist with anything, they communicate frequently and clearly. It's a fairly quiet area as the road/bridge next to it is closed for cars. The bridge is also a good sunset spot. Breakfast was delicious and we got to choose from different options every day. We rented a scooter from them as well, it was even cheaper than renting in the city (400 php/day). They also offer tours to the popular sights, we haven't tried them but they seemed to be reasonably priced.
