We had a lovely time - everyone was super nice, the side view to the ocean was gorgeous, and the food was good as well. The hotel is 15 min by Uber/Bolt from Funchal center, but there was also a free shuttle bus.

the garden is beautiful, peaceful and healing. It is very well kep and the gardeners provide the restaurant with fresh produce.

Fabulous villa, very comfortable and well equipped in a great location for exploring Madeira. Just a few minutes walk from a good selection of local restaurants and a taxi rank.

The breakfast was a lot of variety, and the staff was excellent.

We had a truly lovely stay at Casa Velha do Palheiro. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel itself is a beautiful historic building, full of character, with a fascinating family history and surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The views from the Golf Club were fantastic, and the food at the restaurant recommended by Michela was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet was also wonderful, with plenty of choice (eg exotic fresh fruits selection) and a very pleasant atmosphere. Overall, it was a charming and memorable stay. We would love to come back.

Close to Funchal, nice apartment, fully equipped, swimming pool, very clean, gated community with a feeling of added comfort and safety. Parking place is a huge benefit on this island. Palheiro has plenty of comfortable parking. Breathtaking view from the balcony and the terrace.

Breakfast was varied. Always possible to park in the paid parking area just behind the hotel. Room was warm during winter.

The place is so nice, you really feel good relaxing vibes. The property is spacious and very clean and comfortable. Excellent location. The owner was very attentive and responded very quickly to any requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Falésia.

The apartment is very spacious and beautifully designed. It has everything we needed for a longer stay – fully equipped and very comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the swimming pool and the nice terrace. Nearest area was also nice – charming and rather peaceful, but close to shops and local restaurants. It was a great balance. The communication with the staff was excellent. We really felt at home.

It's a new apartment block and this is probably the best apartment in the block. It has it's own private patio which has a gate that allows direct access to the pool area. Apartment is quite spacious, big TV, wifi and everything you need for mealtimes. There are a few decent restaurants very close by and the Continente shopping center/supermarket is only 300 meters away. It's probably best to highlight that it's about 2Km downhill (250m elevation) to the beach. It's a heck of a trek back up. We drove after the first time. Watch out for the pay parking. There is a warden on a regular loop checking for tickets.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was very clean, bright, and welcoming, with a beautiful view. The location is excellent, with a supermarket nearby and private parking, which was a big plus for us. The host was very kind and even allowed us a late check-out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend!

The dor for the apartment should also have a code not key, on my first day I locked my self out and have to pay €20 cause me some stress, the kitchen is over cluttered table to big for the size of a very small kitchen
