Everything, the experience was fantastic

We stayed at Dajas Douro Valley for two nights this weekend with our dog and it was simply amazing! The hotel is nestled in the middle of the trees with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Douro River and the surrounding valleys, absolutely wow! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Beatriz, who went above and beyond throughout the whole weekend to make sure we had everything we needed. On Saturday, we decided to fully enjoy the hotel: we relaxed by the beautiful swimming pool and later had a wonderful wine tasting experience with Manuel. The conversation was fascinating, learning about the history of the Douro Valley and the different local wines , truly a highlight. The food, prepared by Donna Esperanza, was outstanding! Delicious, authentic dishes that truly reflect the flavors of this region of Portugal. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway to relax, disconnect, and recharge, I can’t recommend Dajas Douro Valley enough. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!

The facilities are beautiful. We were in this town at the end of a long bikepacking trip and wanted to be near a blue line train station to roll our bike on a train and get back to Porto. It’s about 2.5 miles from the station. The Hostess is delightful. Enjoyed the breakfast. For the price it is excellent.

Our favorite place to stay on our three week trip to Portugal. Beautiful setting and beautiful facility. There was a terrace and living room available for our relaxation. The infinity pool was beautiful and wonderful for a soak and a swim. The breakfasts were awesome with fresh cooked scrambled eggs and more than enough options to eat. The woman who prepared breakfast was super helpful even tho she didn’t speak English. We used our google translators effectively! Also there is a restaurant just down the road for other meals.

The property and home are lovingly and incredibly well kept. No detail is overlooked! Vilma and Carlos were kind and caring hosts who went above and beyond. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Really nice, always available and helpful hosts. Thank you, specially Vilma for the hospitality. Premium facilities, clean and everything that you need to spend your vacations. Perfect for relaxing at the pool, large terrain for our dog to explore. The cozy Porch with a spectacular view was wonderful for the meals and to spend the evening. Fantastic place to rest and getaway of everything.

An amazing property set in the Portuguese vineyard with brand new facilities and an amazing staff. The Brandas bungalows are fantastic and secluded for those looking for peace and quiet, the Elmo restaurant is a great value for money offering authentic portuguese cuisine and their own Lavandeira wine is also top quality. Picnic in nature can also be organised by the staff, guests can rent electric bikes, etc.

The view is amazing! It rained the only day we were there. 😞 The staff set up a beautiful lunch for my family in their library. Made our trip very memorable.
