We loved everything about Casas de Santa Rita. The host Miguel is both kind and helpful. I shared the types of experiences we were looking for and places we were considering visiting, and he weighed in with excellent advice each day. His restaurant recommendations were wonderful too. There's nothing right by, but it was an easy 10 minutes to some great food. The rooms are lovely, as are the facilities and pool. Our daughter absolutely loved the animals - donkeys, sheep, and dogs. She especially loved feeding the donkeys every day. We also enjoyed breakfast by the pool: fresh food and a atmospheric. I hope we can come back in a couple years, I also loved the area the most out of all my time in Portugal. The Alentejo is where it's at! Beautiful landscape, incredibly history, great food and friendly people! My kind of vacation.

Rustic, beautiful farm estate. In nicely restored 100+ year old worker's houses, Surrounded by 2,500 acre olive tree fields. Brought delicious dinner and breakfast to our group, set up on outside table, overlooking the beautiful, rolling fields, under the canopy of an old fig tree. Magical. Super friendly and helpful manager and staff. Our group was on bicycles, but cars would be the same. Can not recommend highly enough. Our favorite place in 8 different nights of our trip.
