This is a very unique stay. A little hand built "hobbit" home, tucked away in a green valley. This house is a testament to great engineering and art combining into something very special. The word "magical" comes to mind the moment one takes it in. The sounds of birds, frogs and soft rain kept us company during the night. One lies in bed and looks through the oddly circular window, straight into the thick green carpet of undergrowth. Maybe spotting a spider weaving a web. All while the outside fauna is luring for a piece of all this by crawling into spaces between roof and wall, bringing the nature even closer inside.

Featuring garden views, Segulah Guesthouse in Mossel Bay provides accommodations, a fitness center, and a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

Beautiful views of the valley, unfortunately while in the room, small windows ensured you missed out on the view.

It´s a family hotel and it is absoutely amazing what those guys are doing there They are all so warm and friendly it fells like you always knew them. They call you by your name from the very start and everything is flawless. From the food to the ammenities. Then there are the safaris, lot of wildlife to see. We saw some stuff (no spoillers here) we did not see even in Krugger The rangers are awesome too. Could not recomend more.

Really nice quiet and peaceful place to stay. We were travelling with two little girls and they loved the setup with pool, play area, and plenty of animals. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and hospitable... thank you again Jean!
