One of Melbourne's first luxury lifestyle hotels, W Melbourne is located in the CBD on Flinders Lane. The property offers 5-star accommodation with an indoor pool, sun terrace and state-of-the-art... The location was perfectly central, we could just walk up and down flinders lane for the restaurants and bars we researched ahead of time without realising it’s just on the same street. Going to Southbank, little Bourke and little Collins for shopping and is a quick 10 minute walk. Of course, W hotels always have modern and well designed edgy rooms and amenities.

Melbourne City Apartment Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Melbourne, and features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. Nice sized room with a very comfy bed. The room was quiet as was the neighborhood, which seems to be an area in flux, changing from a once industrial area to more residential. Really lived having a small kitchen and washer dryer in the room. Good coffee shop next door as well as a gym and small store.

The Westin Melbourne is conveniently located in Melbourne CBD, just 2 minutes' walk from Federation Square, Flinders Street and Bourke Street Mall. We did not book breakfast with our stay since my Mum is a minimalist at breakfasts. I especially liked its location ; Collins St. has been part of my growing-up years when I used to visit my Mum before she transferred to Gold Coast. So many memories relived. Truly a wonderful place to stay in!
