We had a very nice welcome and great service in the lovely chalet du cerf. The location is beautiful and the host is extremely caring. The breakfast was amazing. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed every aspect of our stay!

The host is very kind through out booking but unfortunately with our schedule we didnt get to meet him in person. The property is great. Must be nice in summer as we stay in cold weather we didnt get to enjoy facilities much. The view from room is stunning.

We are frequent travellers and honestly: this place is just wonderful. Discrete luxury without the frills. Location is top - some of the cutest villages surrounding. Close to a little village w good food and local delicacies; but still exclusive and outside, secluded among the trees and with a magnificent view on the valley and mountains. The hosts - and their cute dogs, rabbits, cats, and donkeys - are lovely and present whenever you need them. The facilities were 100 pct: the house was spacious, tastefully decorated and calm; the huge swimming pool which we mostly had to ourselves to the delight of the kids; a huge outside areas where the kids were safe and happy playing on the premises. We mostly cooked ourselves so can even vouch for the functionality of the fully-equipped kitchen.

Karen was very helpful in getting us reservations at restaurant that night as it was a holiday the next day. The view of the valley and church steple were great.
