We really enjoyed the owners of the property. Everyone there was super friendly and gave us good tips on things to do and things to see. They always said hi when we left and again hi when we got back. We really felt at home here. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. We liked that we also could sit outside on the balcony area, or go down to the pool area. It's a walk down to the city center, but honestly, the restaurants around this hotel, is far better anyway. We traveled with our pet and the owners helped us get in touch with a vet to get a health certificate to continue to Guatemala. They also helped us to get a shared mini bus to Flores in Guatemala that had no problems waiting for us at the border while we got all papers stamped for our dog.

This property is an oasis just a stone throw away from downtown San Ignacio. I was so taken with all the trees and plants and I love that they have benches to simply sit and enjoy nature. The shower was phenomenal, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C was superb. I liked that there’s was a little coffee maker complete with filter paper, ground coffee and powdered creamer and I made good use of it in the early morning when I needed to work remotely. Speaking of—the WiFi was excellent and I had no issues with any of the conference calls I had during my stay. Lastly, I’m very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. There was always someone around to ask for help or get a recommendation, without them being helicopter-y. If you need a nature retreat within easy reach of downtown (if you’re into walking) I wholeheartedly recommend this place! It’s especially perfect if you’re backpacking but want a nice, calm place to stay. The bus drops you off at the bottom of the hill and it’s a 5 minute walk.

Lovely spot for visiting Mayan ruins and caves. Marcela and Eva were very helpful - arranging tours and transportation. Home cooked food was delicious.

Surrounded by tropical gardens, Maya Mountain Lodge & Tours offers an outdoor pool, and bright accommodation with free Wi-Fi and wonderful garden views. San Ignacio town is 2.5 km away. The food was amazing and the location fantastic

Vanilla Hills Resort offers spacious bungalows located in the lush tropical jungle outside of San Ignacio. It is a short walk from the Mopan River and offers free Wi-Fi and parking. Our Tree House Bungalow was a little slice of heaven. So beautiful, quiet, and private. We loved waking up to the tropical birds singing. The food and service at the restaurant was exceptional and our hosts were very friendly.

Amid the forests of the Blue Hole National Park, this property offers free Wi-Fi access, private parking and free bike rentals to sightsee the area. A tour desk is also available on site. The location, facilities & the staff were terrific! Sleeping Giant Resort is located right off beautiful Humming Bird Hwy, not that far from Belmopan, close to Herman's Cave & The Blue Hole. I believe the whole resort & development covers 500 acres, so it feels like you are in your own world! We loved the bikes, hiking trails, bridges, lookout tower, animals (poultry, peacocks, sheep, horses, bunnies, turtles, birds), river/tubing, outdoor wood-fire pizza dining area, restaurants, pools, gardens, sitting areas, large rooms, everything was bonus! We felt like celebrities lol, all the staff was amazing, friendly, kind, so helpful! The higher price justified the inclusions & amenities. We came during low season & stayed in Riverview room #5, so it was a great value. We loved everything about this place & can't wait to return! Thank you <3

Nagtatampok ang The Banks Resort ng outdoor swimming pool, hardin, terrace, at restaurant sa Belmopan. Resort is absolute perfection! Staff, amenities, food etc. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. 100% recommend!
