It is an apartment in private aparetement complex only accesible with permition. Even if the area around felt a little unsafe at night the complex is very secure and safe. Great outside area for everyone with a gym, huge pool, basketball court and many other things. You could have a nice evening walk there. The apartment as itself was super nice for one night. Even for more great. 11th floor with a great view over San Jose, furniture and everything in a great shape, fully equiped kitchen, dining area and living room in one. The two bathrooms and 2 bedrooms make it just great for a family. We enjoyed a lot and recommend this apartment. Great value - price ratio!

We stayed at this hotel the night before climbing Cerro Chirripó, and it was an excellent choice. The staff were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, offering valuable tips and advice for the hike. Their experience and familiarity with the climb really made a difference. The hotel is located about 2.5 km from the trailhead. They offer a shuttle service, or you can choose to drive yourself and park at the entrance of the national park for a fee. After the hike, we stayed for an additional night and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the peaceful natural surroundings. It’s the perfect place both to prepare for the climb and to unwind afterward. Highly recommended for anyone planning to hike Cerro Chirripó.

The garden and the common area is beautiful with a great view into the canyon and the river down below. Our room was very comfortable with wonderful views. We came just in time for a lovely sunset. The pool area and hot tub is great to hang out. This is a great place to relax a little bit outside of the busy streets of San Jose. The staff was great! We were able to have a vegan breakfast. We would have loved to stay longer.
