Large comfortable living room / diner, beautiful bathroom / shower room and very comfortable bedroom. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood, I would loved to have tried the outdoor swimming pool but I had a busy schedule at the Messe Dusseldorf Trade Fair and it rained throughout my stay. Easy access by train / bus / taxi into Dusseldorf (15 minutes away). Owner Jan was very kind and really welcoming. Forget about hotels for your Dusseldorf stay, Haus am See is simply a must!

Philipps is a wonderful host. He gave me a warm welcome and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The room was very spacious for one person, and it came with everything I needed: towels, a hair dryer, a closet, and more. The shared kitchen was also convenient, with a fridge and utensils available for use. What I loved the most was the garden. Sitting on the swing and enjoying breakfast there was such a peaceful experience—it truly felt like the kind of home I would love to live in! Although it’s a little far from the central station, getting there by bus was easy. In fact, I really enjoyed its location near the Wildpark, where you can see and feed wild animals. If you like walking, I recommend taking the 30 minute walk along the forest trail to get there. Overall, it’s the perfect place for anyone who loves a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
