Located on a historic Westphalian estate in Bad Sassendorf, this non-smoking hotel offers modern rooms within a restored 19th-century building. Everything was fabulous. The place, the room, the sauna, the pool. So many micro zones for different types of time spent.

There is kids playground in a 5 min walk (hidden gem :) ) Breakfast is one of best that I've ate so far (variety of fish, meat, vegetables - everything is always available). Very tasty coffee for adults and hot chocolate for children. There was quite in the hotel (and room, specifically) regardless of the wedding in the hotel and another one in the nearest place. Clean room, very comfortable beds. Overall service is awesome, from the reservation (took +1 1 year baby to the room) till the checkout. Unguarded parking is available without reservation.

Very nice hotel, in a place surrounded by the forest. The room was huge, the king-size bed was really comfortable! The sauna zone is amazing and really quiet! The breakfast and dinners were absolutely superb. The staff was attentive and it's some of the best food I've ever had. The room was comfortable and had plenty of space and storage. It was very quiet and my son and I slept very well. The pool and spa were so quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. The hotel was only a ten minute drive from the slopes of Winterberg. I would absolutely stay here again.
